for education. Washington DC, a place of high murder and drug use, spends $27000/pupil. The US overall spends about $10000/pupil.

Edit: $ title should have read $8700/pupil.

Yet the neo rads on this site say we need to spend more to get our kids educated.

We spend about 6% of our GDP on education. That would place us only behind Denmark Sweden and Finland in the Western World. If you include private spending we would be #1.

So it ain't money, you neo rads. We can all agree that education is a prime tool in overall well being but we spend more than anyone.

Why?

You have already posted this same "TRAP DOOR" spider question before Goose{steppin}. The last time,....the answer, according to you, was Black intellectual inferiority.YES? Still looking for the same answers? How about this....You already KNOW the answer you wish to hear. So just be "UP-FRONT" about it {that is your M.O., right?}.....and post what you really think the answer should be.

P.S.: What the fuck is a Neo-Rad?
I'm guessing it is a self-coined term that you are desperately hoping will come to be used as common vernacular.....if you keep saying it over and over again. Where has THAT tactic been employed before? Hhmmmm.

References? Links?

The Real Cost Of Public Schools - washingtonpost.com

The Wash Post is fairly liberal.

U.S. spends average $8,701 per pupil on education | U.S. | Reuters

Government spending - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Facts and Figures 2007

Now if anyone bothers to read the links, tell us how YOU would help education? Spend more inasmuch as we already spend nearly the most?

Edit: Here are the results for 2006

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Programme_for_International_Student_Assessment

We spend as much as anyone and yet we aren't in the top 20 as far as I can tell. Yet you neo rads love our education cartel. And you virtually cum all over yourselves for the teachers union.

The blame for our poor performance lies on anyone who refuses to at least try school vouchers. Blood on your hands, neo rads.

HOW is the money spent in Denmark as opposed to the US?
I'd like to see if you know. Because if you don't, you're simply baiting with no worm on the hook.

The links Wild Goose provides are from 2007 & 2008, GWB territory.

I wonder if the Goose is bitching and complaining about the $100 billion Obama approved that's in the $787 billion dollar stimulus package.

Obama: Stimulus Package Is an Unprecedented Investment in Education | Edutopia

I'm sure Wild Goose sees education reform as not part of a long-term stimulus solution.

So GWB spent as much as anyone and yet the results were poorer than at least 20 countires. So dolts like you think more money is the solution. Prove to me with ANY link to ANY educational evaluation that money is the answer. I have looked but cannot find any link between per pupil spending and education performance.

But I am not as smart as you. YOU find the link and post it here. If not thanks for playing. You don't count.

I posted the above link which rather painstakingly outlines how the money is spent. I read it too. Did you? If not, to use a phrase you seem to like MB, *Thanks for playing.*

If you did read it you tell me how it was spent nore efficiently than we do in the US. Otherwise you simply do not count in this discussion.

The US appears to spend 2.9% on higher education, Denmark 1.8%.

Denamrk appears to spend more on pre school education but remember thats usually not a teacher union thing here in the US.

So you believe in a quasi socialist government?? Excellent, so do I. I actually am going to copenhagen this summer....for the third time. Everyone rides bikes and works very little. It is Utopia!

I miss utopia. *sighs*

*listens for the sounds of WGC's frantic googling*

*Autopia* was a really fun ride at Disneyland. http://disneyland.disney.go.com/dis...ions/detail?name=AutopiaAttractionPage&bhcp=1

For a 9 year old boy that was *Utopia*.

This is I think what you were saying "Miss Utopia." Welcome to the Official Miss Utopia Website

Now if I could find a girl who liked this and wore bikinis that would be utopia today

Oh! You don't count! Thanks for playing! You simply are not worthy of MY discussion!!

Time for your anger management class, Wild Goose.

Oh, and take the little yellow pill with a glassful of water. All the way down, please. Good boy. Now off to class.

I read through your link. No worries. I suppose my real question to you is: How much emphasis is placed on education in the US as opposed to DK? Is any emphasis placed on "getting a job" or being well-rounded? What do we have to show for it? Do you think Americans are as educated as citizens in other countries? Do you think we have anything significant to show for the amount of money we spend per student? Efficiency means only so much if there aren't results to show for it.

Quercusone said they hardly work and are incredibly happy. What do you have to say about that?

Pertinent questions, no?

I admit it I DO have a monstrous ego. But if they aren't going to read the links, they do not count. If you aren't going to argue with facts, they do not count. If you aren't going to provide additional links that refute what I have posted, you do not count.

Not one person has refuted what I have posted or provided links that question my claims. They just post nonsense.

If you want to play you post some facts that tell us why America, even though George W. Bush spent more $$$ than 99.5% of all countries, posted test scores lower than at least 15% of all countries. If you are going to cite $100 billion in stimulus money for education, PROVE that it will make a difference. Otherwise its just liberal hot air. It makes people think we did not spend enough. We DO spend enough. The socialist lap dogs here always point to Europe as the beacon of enlightenment but yet we spend more than virtually all countires on the earth not just Europe and we get poorer results. Why?

Because we ALL know that if we play the GAME 'OUR' way, you will shortly flip out and reveal your true reason for starting this thread.
It is always about racial inferiority with you. We all here, know that about you already. Isn't there a white supremecy group website forum that you would find more to your liking? Why keep pushing that agenda here? Why the hate? Did a brother kick you in the nuts or something?
