Hi all I was wondering if any of you men use depilation creams on you genitals, I love to be shaved but shy away from using a razor on my balls and would love to be fully free of hair. There are horror stories out there of creams burning the skin etc just wondered if any of you use these creams on a regular basis and what you recommend.

I think it's more about which works for you. Some have thick hair, some have fine hair. Everyone thinks their skin isn't sensitive, but it turns out they are to 1 ingredient in this one brand...
They pretty much all say to test on an area of the skin first - actually do that.
After that it's a matter of learning how long you need to leave it on to remove your hair.
You might also look at getting a "no razor shaver".

A short while back, I tried Nair on my sack and taint, clear back almost to my ass.It was sitting on the vanity and I just decided 'what the heck" and did it. It was super smooth, and no stinging or rash. Plus, it stayed soft a lot longer than my usual shaving does. I'm going to do it again tomorrow or next day. In retrospect, I should have tested it first, like evo suggests. But, I got away with it and I'm happy.

I tried BallsBalm once, based on the recommendation from someone on this site. I found it on Amazon and it had decent reviews so I bought it. I followed the instructions and it only sort of worked, maybe half of the hairs in the area were removed. It stung a bit while using it, but I got some real irritation from it later and it was quite painful, enough that I didn't want to masturbate because the skin was so sensitive. It eventually cleared up, and then popped up again seemingly out of nowhere a few months after I used it the first time.

I never used it again and threw it out. I don't advice using these types of products on your pubic hair, even if that it what they are intended for. Its not worth the pain and the rash/burn, even if it is temporary.
