It depends on what his background (or his parents background) is. 5 ft 7 inches is short for a European man, but for comparison, the average height of a Mexican man is 5 ft 6.5 in. Depending on ethnicity the average height can be even lower than that. I can't imagine his height is causing him many problems in the dating department. I certainly wouldn't say no and I'm towering over him.

I was literally referencing a scientific study of average heights of nationalities around the world, and pointing out the fact that what might be considered small in one part of the world is a normal height in another. Saying the average height of mexican men is 5 ft 6.5 inches is not saying all mexican men are that height. Do you not know the meaning of an average?
