He seems to be very protective of his image. If he is queer, I would hope he is discreet so that he will not get pigeon-holed as a "queer actor". Unfortunately, society is still not where it should be on queer representation and acceptance. How many promising acting careers have been halted once an actor comes out. He is embraced by the queer community but virtually shunned by the rest of society. Black women would immediately turn on him. Straight Black men would not take him seriously in any role where his character is supposed to be straight. I am not even going to get started on the white population, he would not even be a blip on their radar. He is walking a fine line even being affiliated with Signal23. They will keep pressuring him for nudity and try to turn him out until he's just another Black sex worker. He needs to get his SAG card and hook up with Shonda Rhimes, Oprah, or Tyler Perry. They would protect his image instead of trying to exploit his looks then sexualize and monetize them.
