Hi,

I'm on a hairloss drug called Propecia at the moment. I suffering from minor erectile dysfunction as a result of it, so I was thinking of going off it for a while.

I've been on this drug for a 2 months now (since the 10th of november). However I just want to know will this drug (since it's a DHT inhibitor) prevent any further penile growth? I was going through a growth spurt around october november time where my cock grew further 1/4 of an inch (8 1/4 to 8 1/2), which I was amazed about it. However I've not noticed anything since.

I'm only 20, don't turn 21 till august and I believe I'm still going through some form of puberty (I've only just began to grow hairs on my chest, facial hair is beginning to get increasingly thick and I'm still getting spots lol).

I'd be devistated if I knew that my penis would go close to 9" and I didn't forfill it because of this drug. I still probably have 6 months to a year of growth left I reckon so all is not lost (if that were the case), but I beginning to wonder whether or not I should delay using this drug for another year or so just make sure everything's fully grown.

...my guess is to prevent hairloss instead of trying to regrow it later.

i dont believe it5 will affect the growth of your penis. if it were an issue3 i dont believe doctors would prescribe it to anyone under 30 since males do continue getting our secondary sex traits into our 20s.

and dont forget, erect size can vary a bit depending on how arousedyou are..... so if youre with a really hot partner you might swell up to 9" anyway

-AND youll still have a full head of hair!

Thank you, Mr. Brilliance, I never would have figured that out.

Most of the conditions for which Propecia would be prescribed are quite rare in 19 and 20 year olds.

Do you have an advanced degree in endocrinology?

By the way, hair loss is a symptom, not a diagnosis.

I started losing my hair at 17, at 24 I had lost half my hair. Went on Propecia the day it was released and have been on it since.

And I did grow back quite a bit and it's kept my hair thick.

I am pretty sure that DHT is required for proper penile development (nobody knows... try getting funding for that study... GOOD LUCK!!) from all that I have read on the subject. You would be much better off waiting a year, but it's up to you and your doctors... although, at the size that you are at now... you might need a penile reduction later on in life!!!!!
