You may be right saying that size and looks are not a major requirement for male porn stars but it pisses me off too, looking at a porn and finding out that i am bigger than most of the guys there.

On the other hand it drives me crazy to be bigger than a porn star, who, in people's mind, is a synonim of big dick!

I always thought the point of having unattractive, moderately-hung men with hot women in the porn movies was so that the straight men who watch it don't feel inadequate, and can fantasize that they are the ones in the movie with the hot woman. Supposed to be an ego boost for ya, mate, when you look at the man in the porn and think "I'm way better than he is."

Dude, where did you get that idea? I play cello, do you think I want to go to a concert where the musicians aren't as good as I am (and that's not very good)? I used to play baseball, do you think I want to go to a game where they players aren't as good as I was (and I wasn't very good)?

As someone who isn't packing much by the standards of this board (or any other board for that matter), do you think I want to watch some dumpy guy plank some hot babe? Why would I want to do that?

I am sure that I am not the only one in this group who has spent some part of his early career fucking his brains out in the porn industry and incidentally racking up huge profits. I found that having a huge cock and lots of stamina were definitely helpful in getting good gigs. Just as important though was knowing the right film executive to sleep around with. Lots of guys like me just dip in their wicks for a couple years, make a few thou and then make a run for the door.

I couldn't agree more with Cannibal Lector and Proudly Italian. You've both hit the nail on the head in your messages. I consider myself much bigger than the average porn star because I have unusually big girth. But, nonetheless, there are men out there who could put most male porn stars to shame in the "big dick" department. Also, I get really pissed off when some of these men in porn are known for their big dicks; that it, "big dicks" they don't even have.

One can easily come to the conclusion that I'm rarely impressed with the dicks of any porn star (there are few well-hung ones that are somewhat impressive), but the vast majority have no reason to walk around thinking they have one of the biggest dicks in town. They need to check on LPSG.org should they want to see some "big meat". Don't get me wrong, there's a few here and there who are what I consider "well-hung", but it is very uncommon for me to be "impressed" by any porn star's dick.

By the way, I don't think straight porn is about "big dicks" like it supposedly was years ago. You always hear now that dick size is usually an irrevelant issue for becoming a straight male porn star. Go figure?

Finally, it is true that gay porn seems to have a better understanding of what a "big dick" is. But, even if gay porn, I find most dicks are overrated. But, gay porn stars do have bigger dicks in general than their straight counterparts. I will argue in favor of that point for sure. The only problem is: I don't care for gay porn, apart from seeing how big the men's dicks are. Damn!
