How you all doing. Does it seem that more and more that Arnold Schwarzenegger is needing shoe horn for his mouth what with all the talk about harassment and Hitler? I mean, it's ok to have a past, Dubya did with his pot smoking and all, but to talk about the most despised man to ever set foot on god's green earth is just weird. :-[

Any thoughts?

The Governator flatly denied ever making any positive comments about Hitler and even the writer who reported the alleged quote in question stated that it was taken out of context. It is not at all weird for Arnold to have commented on Hitler given the history of Arnold's native country. Hitler's first aggressive act preceding WWII was to force the annexation of Austria. Most Austrians and Germans today have strong negative feelings about the Nazi phenomenon and it's a common topic of discussion.

Electing Arnold is the smartest thing California has done in a long time. (More on-topic, I have always heard rumors that the Governor-elect could qualify for honorary membership in the LPSG.)

If I may be allowed to draw some comparisons between Arnold and a Little Rock friend of mine, bear with me. Arnold and my friend have been devote body builders -- my friend b/c his huge penis looked strange hanging on him during his pre-weight-lifting days. After years of working out, his body has gotten in proportion and he's proud to show all. So, what you've heard re. Arnold could very well be factual.

Javierdude22: I find it odd to note having elected Arnold Schwrznegger is 'good' for California. If you follow the news, California has elected it most unknown governor ever. People are clueless as to what he stands for in detail, all we know is that he will 'terminate' debt. Myeah...

Look, I dunno what the guy will do, maybe he's the best thing for cali right now, but theres an equal 50% chance he will suck more than ever. Nbody knows if this is goo, nobody knows if this is bad, nobody really knows anything about this guy, how strong he can hold himself, and what he will actully do. We will know in a couple of months.

What I do know, is that a majority of 12 million voters voted for somebody theyve seen in a movie, and hey, movies they liked (that would be an IQ indicator for me). And that, sad enough, was their main and mostly only motive to vote for this dude. Hell, that porn star got 0,1 % of the votes of a 134 governor candidates.

Good, nobody knows, we'll see...

7x6andchg: If that happens, Geo....(Ah-nold getting elected President, not the amendment..which I think would be well nigh impossible to get past the legislatures of some states)....then, Sammy...do you have room for me in Ontario? I can speak French and put an extra U in words....

awellhungboi: I had always heard that Governor-elect Schwarzenegger was small. Hard to tell from that picture. Maybe he's a grower, not a shower.

I wish him and all my friends in California a lot of luck. They've just been through a circus out there! I probably wouldn't have voted for Schwarzenegger, but the recall is over, he won fair and square, so I'd like to see everybody give the guy a chance. Who knows? Maybe he'll do a good job.

7x6andchg: Well we all thought Jesse might do a good job....

Then he got elected and proved us wrong...

Ah-nold is smarter than Jesse, that's for sure...but I don't envy his current position....$8b in deficit....
