Did Homo Sapiens Eat Neanderthals?

I would love a proven answer one way or another, but I wouldn't be surprised if this decade's proven answer is thrown on the garbage heap in subsequent decades when new technology and archaeology come to the fore. We might never get the proof we are looking for.

Yeah, humans and Neanderthals probably got funky from time to time and yeah, humans probably ate a few; the Neanderthals probably ate a few humans too.
And I don't think anyone is assuming humans just swooped down and ate all of the Neanderthals, that's complete lunacy. Humans ate them into extinction in the short (relatively) amount of time it took for Neanderthals to disappear?
If you sit and think about it for a minute there isn't something that some human hasn't done if it were within that human's powers.
Humans cannibalize, rape, pillage, plunder, sing, love, and all that other great or horrible stuff.
Suffice to say it doesn't shock me that 25 or more thousand years ago humans didn't see it as a taboo to eat another animal that resembled them, or fuck it...
Morality and shit like that didn't set in until later; I mean c'mon, look at how KFC's chicken's are prepared and how all that prime rib is cut up, have we come that much further?
And another note is that beastiality is a big enough issue for there to be tons of porn on it, if humans (today) are going to fuck cows and dogs and horses on film what makes you think some guy didn't do it so a slightly hairier version of his woman from where-ever-the-fuck?
But that's just my opinion, we're probably all wrong anyway.
