There are a huge number of drugs that can cause this, narcotics, anti-depressants, high blood pressure drugs, the worst ever for me was FlowMax so I could pee. I had a UTI and just could not pee, FlowMax fixed that problem, I took 4 pills over 5 days and did not cum for a month.

How much porn do you watch? It's common to find it harder to maintain arousal if you consume a lot of porn.

I assume you have been on the same medication for a while? It's less likely to be the cause if you have.

hello, recently i've been unable to cum, to finish, i get tired and lose my erection has anyone experienced this? this has happened a few times randomly. dont know what to do

There are any number of issues that can affect your ability to orgasm, but Brodie has hit on one of the most significant, desensitization, either physical or mental. High blood pressure and sleep apnea (do you have this?) will cause this problem in many men.

I, and many other men can orgasm soft. The erection isn't necessary but it is nice. Normally, men associate orgasm with a raging hard on and losing it psychologically ruins the build when it happens first. So the first thing to understand is that orgasm is a mental process as much or more than physical. For the next sessions, don't expect to cum. It's not the object and making it that creates anxiety reminds you of what happened before and fear and anxiety cause even more issues. Don't worry about getting hard. Just use lube, different strokes and play around to see where you can make pleasure happen and how. Switch hands, when you find something new you like, repeat and enjoy until it stops being good or you get hard. Stop after a few strokes and let it deflate. Play like this for a few sessions until you have a new set of 4-5 techniques (there are books too for more direction). Use a cock ring, get comfortable, touch yourself sensually and imagine what turns you on...quiet and low music or no music. start to bate and take it slowly and focus deeply on the pleasure and your connection to your cock. If you lose the bone, immediately switch in one of your new techniques and think of something very arousing and positive, and see if that change of sensation works. If not, stop and come back to it after 30 min rest. Do the same, if it goes, 30 min and again...usually the orgasmic build up will make the third session easier and you should cum.

Anti depressants caused a lot of issues for me in terms of sex. I could get hard, but not get off. Made my bed partners really happy because I could fuck for hours. Not so much for me because there wasn't any release. It would switch between hard and no orgasm, to no erection, and no orgasm. Eventually I stopped talking them and the issues went away. Over the counter cold medicine can do that for some people as well. I've never noticed, but when I have a really bad cold, getting off is the last thing on my mind.

How often do you masturbate? If your equipment functions normally and you aren't desensitized by porn, the other way to blunt your sex drive is masturbation frequency. As you get older, sex drive recovery takes longer. So maybe you need to stop masturbating for a while so that your only opportunity for release is during sex.

If it's not that then it does get a bit more complicated.

Certain sinus / head cold medications can keep me from cumming. I get the feeling I am about to nut, but can't.
This winter that’s been happening to me with all the sinus infections I’ve had. Even with poppers it can be tough. BTW...LOVE your ballsac and bush... the best!

when i was younger i used to masturbate daily and sometimes twice a day always while watching porn. nowadays i watch porn i masturbate with porn once a week. i never masturbate without porn i probably should quit porn at all or just quit masturbating while watching it?

I am glad you mentioned only during sex not alone. I have this sometimes. If I am alone, I can usually climax immediately, or edge. When its me and my fiance, it takes a while. The first time I ever had sex, it took forever, and he had start talking dirty to make it happen. It could be a form of performance anxiety more than anything. I cannot cum while topping, it just wont happen, but I can while bottoming.

So my questions are:

Do you top or bottom?
If both, are you unable to cum in both positions?
Do you have difficulties while receiving Oral?
Are you in a relationship where it is the same partner?

Reaching orgasm is a two part process. 95% of it is reaching a sufficient level of mental sexual arousal and the other 5% is pleasurable genital stimulation.

Porn these days is so vast, it's like candy for your brain. You can find exactly the thing that gets your brain going wild easily. Not only that, you can skip all the boring bits and watch a different scene all in one session. Add masturbation to that where you can grip your cock exactly how you like it, you have a mind blowing combination.

You end up training your brain to be lazy and have the concentration span on a 3 year old.

When you have sex, you can't jump the boring bits. If you have the same partner, you can't change the scene. Your brain has built up such a tolerance that normal sex is not enough mental stimulation to reach orgasm.

Because you are having problems, my suggestion is to stop both masturbating and porn and have sex as your only release. If possible, delay sex to when you are horny as hell and can't take it any longer. Over time this will bring your tolerance back to normal.

At this point, you can bring back masturbation. If you want to add porn at a later point after that, just use it sparingly and watch out for signs of building up a tolerance again.

Do you top or bottom?: we usually do cowgirl, missionary, doggy...
If both, are you unable to cum in both positions? The only position i can cum is doggy. i actually cant last a minute while doing this position and is frustrating.
Do you have difficulties while receiving Oral? yes most times i lose my erection while receiving oral.
Are you in a relationship where it is the same partner? no, im in a relationship with a girl

i also get that performance anxiety. sometimes even before having sex i fear of losing my erection and cant even get it hard for starters.

about the porn... sometimes me and my partner turn on porn on the tv but i cant seem to get aroused but if im by myself i can get an instant erection by porn!!

Oh hell, I am a gold star gay, so sex with a woman is a bit different.

Don't get frustrated. Everyone has their quirks with sex. I do sense a theme with your response and I think its performance anxiety. When having sex, how often do you worry? Do you talk with your partner? Is she understanding and can you work together on finding that happy medium? I had issues with hookups. A new partner and a new experience. Sometimes it wasn't great and sometimes I had issues. I was too worried about the sex being bad. I did not have a lot of confidence in my abilities and it showed. Once I started to become more confident in how I performed, it started to improve. Sex is not just physical, its mental. I would suggest you and your partner do a little research on new or different ways to have sex. You cant really perform if you cant trust. Communicate with your partner and experiment.

Foreplay is just as important to men as it is to women.

I can't speak on behalf of abstaining from masturbation. You can try, cause I know it works for others.

I've had some issues with my wife and an ex girlfriend giving me head and not being able to cum, but I took over while they licked my balls and shaft and was eventually able to.

When I was younger. I couldn't relax and enjoy enough and was more worried about performance. Now I got more than enough experience and self esteem and haven't had trouble ever since.
