My first encounter was not consensual and I think this led to me being afraid of sex for some time.
Luckily I met my ex who helped me through a lot and brought out my inner minx, but now we're separated it's not quite the same.

I definately felt awkward. I would think everybody would. I mean it's totally natural and everyone does it but it was so different emotionally and physically I guess too.

First time out I think the majority of us have this thing hoping we are doing it right, if we are doing it "right enough" to make the other feel good, etc. Performance anxiety I think I'd call it. Back then it was a she and she didn't seem to mind what I was doing at all, she moaned a lot and had a couple of orgasms followed by a huge squirt....boosted my ego for a long time after that....I'll never forget it!

Why would you think that everyone would feel awkward? Sex has been around for a long time, and most do it at some point. It's just natural, and natural for your partner too.

I'm not sure why but I just think it's awkard because your new at it. Trying to get everything coordinated....lol....plus it's a huge step in the maturing process. It's definately a time everyone remembers and values the thought.

Of course!

I wasn't used to the sights, sounds, and smells of sex. I wasn't used to the sensation of being inside a woman and the warmth of her pussy wrapped around my cock. So to say it was awkward for me is an understatment.

Maybe a little awkward as we were both young teenagers and it was both of our first time--I was especially aware of what doing it meant to her, emotionally. We had a great place to do it, my older sister who waitressed at night let me hang at her apartment whenever I wanted, and I had a key for. But when we got down to brass tacks, it didn't help that there was the size issue to deal with, as even though my girlfriend was quite wet, I wasn't going in very easily (at all!). I remember going and finding some vaseline to help lubricate me, which while breaking the flow of the mood a little bit, did help in managing to squeeze my cock inside of her. Still everyting wasn't quite magic, as my girlfriend was hurting a little too much from me to fully enjoy it, so we stopped after about 10 minutes and just held each other for a long, long, while--a good thing too, as when I pulled out I found out why one doesn't use vaseline with condoms. The second time for us was much, much, better.

For me, the first time was surprisingly unawkward.

I had already been masturbating with foreign objects for some time, and I was used to the feeling of something moving inside me.

When my first partner entered me, and we began moving, it actually seemed very familiar and anti-climactic. He didn't last very long and afterward, I thought, "Well, that's over with."

I am a little weird in that I had my first time with a virtual stranger because I was afraid I would be awkward and make a fool of myself and I didn't want that to happen with someone I did care about. So I did it mostly to get it out of the way.

It turns out I needn't have worried.

Not too weird - my first time was with a stranger and I was doing it to get it out of the way too!

What I meant to ask is, why does the fact that YOU found it to be awkward make you think EVERYONE finds it awkward? Some people do, and others, like me and my first, do not. If everyone experienced sex the exact same way, the world would be awfully boring.

My first time was awkward, yes. Unfortunately, I didn't wait for love like I had originally planned. I was 18 and just wanted to get it over with. So I was with this guy, and we had only been dating for four days, but it was his birthday and I just wanted an excuse to get it over with, so we did it. I wasn't allowed to see his penis (It apparently was significantly small, but I wouldn't of cared) and I was shaking the entire time because I have never been fully naked in front of anyone in my entire life. There was no foreplay, no fun, just sex.

We had no lube so I was in pain, and he was wearing a condom, apparently didnt feel anything, and after 30 mins of thrusting, he decided to go into the bathroom to finish. Afterward, he came back in, lied in bed, and fell asleep.

Yes I do regret it, but I have been with significantly better lovers and now I am a pro at sex

Yes, it was all a bit of an "out of body" experience, as if I was watching myself do it almost, rather than being lost in the moment. The good part about being the age i was, is that teenagers can immediately go for a better 'second round'.

Wow, a lot of people have no problem to answer this question. It is like whatever they say here is completely anonymous. To me, it is nobody's business to know my sexuality or my real sex life.
