I didn't. I really didn't care much for his music enough to buy it though I did enjoy a few songs like early Jackson 5, Smooth Criminal, and loved the Black or White, Thriller, and Leave Me Alone videos. :wall:

You need to really listen to/study that album. It's utterly amazing.

Somewhere at my parents' house, we still have a VHS of the Thriller video...including the "making of" documentary.

I actually had Thriller on cassette...before the time of the compact disc.

    yes,

I received an early copy of it from DJ and took it to a friend's party. It was one of the most exquisite albums I have ever experienced. I would say that Off the Wall and THriller were probably my favorites of his albums.

My oldest daughter text me last night and said she still remembers me bringing in the cassette of Thriller when she was 7 years old.

    Yep.

"you are not alone" was one of my wifes favorite songs- have some very strong memories to that song as well as quite a few others...

    Me.

I listened to his music at times-if it happened to be on the radio-but never found a desire to buy any of it.
