I can understand shaving it if you have patchy chest hair, as that doesn't look great. Luckily mine grew in pretty evenly so I mostly let it be. However I have shaved my stomach a few times to turn my hairy belly into a happy trail.

Living in Asia, I get a few funny looks when swimming etc as almost no Asian guys have hairy chests. At first I felt self conscious, but now it doesn't bother me.

I am well into my sixties and have yet to develop any detectable chest hair. I guess that makes me lucky in the eyes of some, unlucky in the eyes of others. I just accept it as being what it is.

i was just about to say you luck bastard but i probably over exaggerate mine. i think i may be the only one that really notices it, it may grow but at its longest to others its not that noticeable. like i only have to shave like once every 2-3 months and even then its not really long.. still i would like to not shave it at all

I embraced it big time. Was thrilled to have it and have never seen a reason to dispose of any of the chest hairs, leg hairs, arm hairs or ass hairs. Tried shaving trimming the genitals a few times and felt idiotic. It's not a look for me but there are those who look quite nice shaved or even trimmed.

My hair grows wild.... looks like hell honestly.
I'd prefer to be smooth all over.. but, it's just so much work to keep up.
So,I trim it to keep a neat appearance.
I've put the final say in my girl's hands...... if she wants smooth, I'll do it. If she wants a little stubble for a while, she's got it.
I gotta admit that I always secretly root for smooth... because that means she'll probably be helping me. Woooooof!!

I used to shave my chest, but now I embrace it and trim it to keep it manageable length, moreso when it is hot outside and I am running. I still think that chest hair that is too long and sticks out of a shirt is unflattering, like I see with older guys.

I flip flop between trimming it and shaving it. Usually just trim lately since its a little more filled out and looks better.
