What is mansplaining?

Asking for a friend.
In my view, it's when a male comes in and either attempts to speak for women, or belittles women's experience.
Let's say some dude asked about clit sensitivity. And is very insistent that it's identical to a penis.

Knowing what I do about anatomy, and I've taken a cadaver apart and I work with live bodies all day, I'm of the opinion that the nerve signals are similar, but unlikely to be identical.
So I post that, and Dude come back saying this third cousin twice removed best friends sister's third grade teacher said X, so it's true for all women.
Man splaining.
Usually with an attitude of superiority, that little wimmin don't knwo what's up.

I know it happens now and then, but women don't seem to have anywhere near as much of a problem not being able to post in the Ask a Man forums... despite sometimes being bowled over by the sheer ignorance of some of the questions and replies. How curious.

I didn't notice the ask a rules when I went gaily tromping into Trans.
