Differences between elastic briefs and speedos...

    I haven't heard of elastic briefs, except for the waistband.

    hmmm If you are talking about two types of swimwear, there is a big difference. speedos will have a drawstring - essential if you're working out. The others will only have elastic and it does not always hold the suit on you.

    So would a speedo be much shorter than a elastic one. So an elastic type would be without the string in general. So what Scott Baio did have when he was young(18 to early 20s) was mostly elastic because a lot of people's speedos be much tighter than that. So compare to these pics, would speedos have strings and those without are a different brand, as you previously stated? Just curious to know. So would Baio's wear be more elastic than speedo wear?     Those are from late 70s-early 80s period, though.
