Ha! When I was little, I learned from Black friends that White people smell like wet dogs.

When I told this to my ex, a Black man who grew up in ever-so-racist Tobacco-town (where I live now), he said, frowning, "You're not supposed to know that! How do you know that??" :biggrin1: I was incredibly amused.

Yes, but indirectly. I have been very intimate (oral sex) with Asians, Whites and Blacks. My experience is that it relates to diet, exercise/weight/physical condition and hygiene.

Within the variations from any person to any other, if one 5'5" 120 pound girl from each race exercised, ate and washed the same, there would be little difference.

I was in the army and lived in close quarters with all types of folks. Different races do have their own smell for sure for sure. I can smell Arabic people very distinctly after being at war with them. It is odd how that is.

All I know is that I'm a germaphobe who takes very frequent showers and I smell like Victoria's Secret "Pure Seduction" lol I use the body wash, lotion, and perfume... the smell is sooo alluring maybe its why so many guys flirt with me when I go out lol

I am so sorry if anyone is offended by this, but the Indian guys who get on the public bus smell disgusting. Not like a musty, man scent, but more like, why are you bathing in the Ganges?

i think i've been on that bus...

but seriously now...
If you’ve visited many rural US motels, you’ve likely entered the manager’s office with its attached living quarters and walked into a wall of incense, onions, and curry.

I love incense, onions, and curry, but some folks love them even more.

I did hot summertime roofing work as a young man in a Syracuse neighborhood of Italian houses with their steep roofs and toilet vents that open next to the chimneys.
I really like garlic too, but I started to roll off the roof every time the toilet flushed.

I had unlimited free access to all the natural fruit beverages I could drink for awhile…my partner at the time would remark about how unbelievably sweet her jelly-roll was.

Genetics obviously plays a part, but generalizations and other foolish consistencies can be the hobgoblins of small minds (as HDT almost wrote once).
My father was a good example with his idiotic and prejudiced insistence that God was being kind to those whose ancestors originated from tropical climates by giving them dark skin, a stronger smell and natural insect repellent.

The interesting part is that his light-skinned German father in-law (my grandfather) was the only one I ever knew that never got bit by mosquitoes, at least until he was over 60. I remember the day he got his first bite, it was one of the few times I ever saw him get mad. Bugs would normally land and not want to eat him.

I inherited the same pale skin, but not the gift, am very exothermic, and smell like any gym academy as soon as I get hot.
…on the other hand…
my Brazilian Mistress is a hybrid of black, white, red (Indian), blue (ET), mid-eastern and whatever. She sweats but has no smell, and most of the month her honey factory is sweet like mineral water.

…we are all unique aren't we?.

I think black/mixed race people definately smell differently, it's a vague coconuty smell, I think hair oils and negro-targeted cosmetic products use a LOT of cocount.

uhhh, if you use a coconut product, then yes, you will smell like it. You can't say a race smells differently based on a product one may or may not use. My boy friend is black, and my children are bi-racial... but none of them smell like coconuts.

My boyfriend smells like polo , and my kids baby powder ;)

If black/mixed race men/women smelled like coconut I would have issues because I don't like the smell of coconut what so ever, and I 9/10 only date outside my race.

Go figure.
