Hi,
I'm in England and trying to find a jockstrap to wear in the gym and running - my balls ache if I don't support them running and the shorts liner doesn't seem to provide enough support. I'd prefer a jock with narrow waistband but I've tried all over my city with no luck. Jockstraps seem to be out of fashion.

Do any UK guys know where I can get one? I'd appreciate recommendations. Thanks guys

I bought one a few years back in Tesco. It was on a sports display with various other ankle supports, etc. Don't know if they still sell them though.

Finding jocks in shops in the UK is tough, unless you can get to Old Compton St in Soho.

You'll probably have more choice if you order on line from one of the sites above though, and most of these are in the US. Apart from the two main specialist links I posted before, you could also try ABCunderwear.com. They're super fast at delivering, wheareas others take around 14 days. Their Marco's Jock is super comfortable, and has loads of room up front.

You look like a similar build to me. The ones I find most comfortable are Go Softwear and Cin2, which are more underwear kind of jocks and have plenty of room too - depends how big your dick is. The athletic ones generally don't wash as well, but give better support. Avoid Activeman and Safe-T-Guard though, the pouches don't give enough support and they're scratchy as hell...

I will say though, Sports Direct should do them, as me mate works for their suppliers, over in Lenton Nottingham, but I have found not all their branches stock them.

Having said that from what my friend tells me, they are nothing like you would expect from the likes of C-in2 and others, and often do not have the pouch.

most jockstraps available in the uk arent made for the likes of support and confort. sportsmen in the uk dont really wear jocks so there is no big demand for them. especially good ones that are used for sports.
most jocks are used for sex. sexy underwear like jocks are more common for gay men. you'll notice that when you look at popular underwear site like the ones i posted above.

Seriously though if you think it's difficult to buy them in the UK it's even more difficult here in Ireland, all the more so since Irish debit cards often can't be used on foreign websites. Yeah yeah I know, use my credit card, but I'm really strict with myself and I don't really shop on credit. :(

Mens Underwear store is good in that sense, as long as you can use your cards via PayPal, they will accept it, and the shipping costs are reasonable to the UK and Ireland.

Yeah no, it's a pain in the shitter but PayPal stopped allowing Irish debit cards recently, which is really annoying considering their European HQ is here.

Scumbags..... about the only Irish based bank I can think of that may do standard UK type debit cards, is Bank Of Ireland (They run the UK's Post office banking network anyway), or using a Northern Irish Bank, but guess that will be a right faff to sort out.

Are there not any sporting goods stores in the UK? Lots of them here in the US. Look in phone directory for Sporting Goods. Maybe someone needs to fill that need in the UK. No?

There are some, but they are very specialised to a particular sport, and the range they carry, and as such, Alethic Supporters (This is what they are called here, accorting to my mate who words as a sportswear distro company). are few and far between, with most normally using compression shorts, or Jockey style support briefs

The only realistic way of getting any jocks in the UK, is via a sportswear store, and the range is poor to say the least.
