I hate to admit this publicly, but I will. My interest in politics is not great. I only really watch the news if there's a big story kicking off. I generally believe that all politicians are basically the same kind of monster; self-serving, egotistical, power-craving dullards! Im never remotely surprised when a politician scandal arises. I'd be far more shocked if any of them were revealed to be decent people who genuinely gave a fuck about their constituence. So, back to the thing Im ashamed to admit:

WHEN IT COMES TO VOTING, I JUST VOTE FOR THE BEST LOOKING CANDIDATE!

Call me shallow, call me ignorant but I know that many others, especially gays & ladeez, do the same! Go on, admit it....

well man.... I must say, I'm not terribly surprised (not at you but in general) I think there are a lot of people out there that vote for a candidate based on there looks.

You are certainly not alone is your voting quirks.

I heard some people say they voted for Hillary due to "I don't think she will have another chance to run," "It's time a woman was in the White House," "Our country was in better shape with Bill in the White House."

There were one hell of a lot of people who actually felt these were ligitimate reasons for voting for Hillary despite the fact that none of these have anything whatsoever to do with her.

How many voted for Barack due to his is (part) African American and for no other reason?

How many people actually take the time to truly research each candidate's qualifications in order to make an intelligent, well-informed decision?

Unfortunately you're not the only one who thinks that way. :frown1:
People like you are the reason Dennis Kucinich never stood a chance.

Though I may be worse than you, in that I vote for the candidate that thinks like I do on topics which are important to me.

He has a nice face.

Thus far, I have not had an opportunity to vote for a candidate that I consider good looking.

That's sad, you shouldn't be voting

No, its sad that you're telling me that I should not be voting. We all have a right to our own reasons for voting. My point is that they're all despisable so why not just go for the one thats the least repulsive to look at!

But that sounds like the best reason you could have.

I have seen pictures of John McCain when he was younger and he was handsome, looked a little bit like Henry Rollins.
Henry Rollins - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As this pic shows, John McCain was good looking as a young man.

Because that's fucking stupid.

Okay, on the boat with you now, yuh lil' Brit upstart.

I was very young at the time, but Nixon lost to Kennedy because of the way his beard looked on black and white tv.
Many people do vote by how a candidate looks.

Will history repeat itself?

Real literate men say capisce...capisce?

You are a dawg.
Capiche? Coppish? Kabish? Capeesh?
All, at various times, accepted in 1940s slang.
And real men ... of course, you wood'n know this, Hazelle ... are never pedantic.
Pomeranian!:mad::frown1::cool:
Caniche!!!
(Actually, I'm pretty sure you're a very yellow lab.)
