Okay, well.. I think that men are much more agressive when it comes to sexual relations. The fact that the agression is coming from both parties in the act could be the reason for the vulnerability.

In the typical straight sexual relation, there is only one person in control (which is the man). Yet, in a gay sexual relation, both have equal control.

So, that vulnerability that people may see in women during straight sex is divided between the men. It's that ambiguity of control that may make them seem vulnerable... At least that's my opinion.

I'm wanting to hear other peeps opinion on this issue. I haven't seen that many guys having sex with each other but when I have I feel self-conscious as fuck. I've seen some guy-on-guy porn and I always feel a little uncomfortable watching it. They look so vulnerable being together intimately. Do you think this is a homophobic reaction or just my own fear? I finally figured out that probably the crux of the discomfort a straight guy might feel in watching gay porn would revolve around the act of penetration.
Most men (and especially straight men) are very sensitive and uptight about their anuses/butts/bottoms/arses and they are also often very ignorant about them too (whch is why men don't go to get checked for prostate disease and why the bulk of homophobic attacks involves puerile misinformed notions about the arse and its contents, functions, and behaviours).

I do understand, however, that if one is an anal virgin one would not understand how extremely pleasurable and healthy it can be to be serviced on a regular basis. (I'm not sure that it's as pleasurable and wholesome for women who do not have the benefit of a prostate).

Ideally the act of penetration is performed in a loving and helpful fashion and good porn would hopefully reflect that. I do know, however, that in porn, as in life, this act is sometimes performed in a less than loving manner which should doubtless make anyone cringe.

Actually.. I've seen and experienced several women who have more aggression and more "balls" than most men! I was confused and I guess kind of vulnerable because I didn't think something so beautiful could be so strong and dominant.
