Do people on LPSG find they discriminate against people <25 ?
ive been rejected just from chatting with people for being under 25.
Do people think this is fair ?

I have no problem with 25 or above, I'm just not comfortable chatting with the under 21 crowd. I don't see how we can have much in common with me being in my 30's and I enjoy a more mature age group to talk to. They tend to actually have something decent to say other than "What do you think of my dick?" At least some of the time! Lol!

it's most likely an unintended consequence of age being the best judgment of a person's maturity level when they are a stranger.

Is it fair? probably not but life isn't about being fair all the time.

Well, I think all people discriminate, don´t they?

You will also find young guys around 20 who don´t want to chat with guys above 30 or 40. I think it´s just af matter of taste...

Personally I don´t have those restrictions. I am 37 and am open to talk or chat will all ages from 18 to 90. And I don´t care about their religion or etnicity :D

Maybe people are scared off because you have Handbanana as your avatar.

    ;P

Seriously, I'm happy to chat with anyone 18 or up (since this is an adults-only kind of forum). I understand that "different levels of maturity" thing, but for goodness sakes, there are 50 year-olds out there with less maturity than some 10 year-olds. I like to take people on a case-by-case basis.

blackcollegedude, sorry to hear that people are such douchebags.

...oh let's not start the 'discrimination' arguement. Like a few said above. I've been hung up on for being over 30.

To be fair...I discriminate as well. I'll never continue a conversation with anyone, regardless of age, if they start to talk stupid....

I find if anything, that once you go above 30, you will find many here will not even give you time of day, so interesting to see it's starting to work both ways now.

Last time someone under 30 pm'd me, it was because he had "a thing for daddies". And I'm just not ready for that. (of course we jerked off together anyway. I mean, we're guys; we won't let a left-handed compliment get in the way of sex).

But really, whenever you are approached by someone much younger, or better looking, or taller, or bigger dick, or musclebound... It's suspicious. What are the motives? It always feels like "wait a minute, why are you slumming? Are you on meth? Are you picking an easy target so you can do something extra-dirty that the regular guys won't?"

    I'm only 20 :(

To be fair, I know I have a lot to learn still but I think nowadays just as much can be learned from looking back to, and interacting with youth even just by talking to them.

All I can reccomend is trying someone different. Some people discriminate, some people are more open. To gain the best experience of interacting with someone, you want the people with the most open minds, willing to have the broadest experience. In other words, if someone is being a jerk to you right off the bat for some petty reason, you will likely learn that person is an even bigger jerk if you interact with them more--don't waste your time on people who put you down without cause. If someone older is refusing to talk with you because of your youth, they apparently have less maturity than you do, so it is no loss to you anyway. There are lots of people who will provide a better experience, so just try someone else. Good Luck!

I was told by an 18 year old to get off the site because I was an old troll. I just smiled to myself, and told him I wished him well, and hoped that he lived a long life. The demand that I leave the site was the opening comment on the chat request. I hadn't said a thing to him or in the room.
With age comes maturity. It also brings a much higher "give a shit" tolerance level.

When it comes to who you want to have sex with, it's one thing. But to merely talk or be friendly? Who in their right mind would try to discriminate against someone just for that?
