Jonb, you crack me up! When I read Anthem, I applauded Ayn Rand for being such a bitch, but by the time I got to Atlas Shrugged, I was so over it.

Your rant on consumerism wasn't lost on me, I have only recently dropped out of that market and have never been happier. Fight Club style. Now I produce more than I use and every bite of food I eat comes from the Dollar Tree, funny how much less money I need. It's my little dig at the Republican theocracy- stop buying things (paying sales tax), stop earning so much money (paying income tax) and therefore don't help finance the war on nothing. Oh yeah, and now that I don't have to work 80 hours a week, I have time to read and find out what's going on in the world- it's been very educational, to say the least.

I guess if I dropped out further I could go on welfare, then ol' dubya could pay me to visit the reservations. That might be fun.

Well, Dubya wouldn't be the only taxpaying citizen who would be supporting you. We ALL would. And, BTW, you guys missed Rand's point.

Well, you see, talking about things that would be funny to do here ARE funny, but if you must take them seriously, have at it. Besides, with the little I make, I doubt I'd get enough to get to Kentucky much less out west.

I wonder what point you could possibly mean we missed on Rand?
