I either flush it down the toilet (city sewer) or throw it in the trash. No reason to wrap it in a tissue unless you're trying to hide it.
Wrapping them in tissue prevents them from sticking to the bottom or side of the trash can. Not a fan of peeling a cold, wet rubber off of the bottom of the trash.
Don't flush them!! I used to flush them, and then had the main drain (city sewer system) from the house back up during a rain storm, when Roto-Rooter came out to clear the drain, there was a bunch of tree roots with a few rubbers dangling from the mess that he pulled out of the drain. He said it was best not to flush rubbers because they don't break down easily.
Not the best way, in fact city sewer departments tell you not to do it:

Otherwise, this could happen:

A gay resort I frequent in the Palm Springs area has big signs over all the toilets, warning you not to flush condoms because of what it does to their plumbing. (Of course, there is a lot of fucking there...)
However, be careful about disposal in the trash if you have a pet-- dogs have been known to pull condoms out and swallow them, with potential adverse consequences. I remember one night visiting a trick, we lost the condom (no, not inside him, afterward when I rolled it off). He was in a panic until we found it, because of a previous incident with his dog.
This is what i love about lpsg. Thanks for the information.![]()
Who doesn't already know that? It's common sense.
Put it in the trash can after wrapping it in tissue, especially if you have children in the house or you may have some explaining to do earlier than you want. It is just common courtesy for others to not have to see a used condom in the trash.
I really hope that this is a typo...Myself or my wife just puts it in the garage. Never wrap it up in anything. Not really too worried if someone sees a condom in there
Are you actually asking or are you asking statistically? Because the answer to the first is i don't know. And there's no way i could ever know how many people don't in fact know that. I can though guess accurately that statistically speaking there are people out there who don't.
