OH...I thought I was the only one who rememberd when it was a nice store...be careful you are going to date yourself!
Really? The gay men I know drive Passats, Camry Convertibles, Mercedes Benz, and Escalades. That being said, NO! Not all gay men shop at Abercrombie...only the stereotypical ones. They also all go to clubs called "Twinkies" or "the Mineshaft" and they all drive Jettas.
tee hee hee Abercrummy & Swish :biggrin1: I like that one.:biggrin1: I'm more likely to shop at The Leather Rack than at Abercrummy & Swish.
I haven't been able to fit into their stuff since I was about 34.Everything at AF seems like it has been thru a shredder. I see it as thread worn derelict clothing. I personally do not fit in most all their clothes.
Now you're talking my language! :biggrin1: I do so love to spend a day there. The Cafe on 5 used to serve one of the best gourmet lunches in the city for under $10. In my wicked past I once convinced a vegetarian friend to try on a full length sable in their fur salon. She was so swept away by it's sumptuous softness she almost wept. She's a meat eater again and the proud owner of a few leather jackets and shearling coats. :biggrin1:  I miss my little lilac credit card.Well if you really want to shop and get laid too, go to Bergdorf Goodman!!!!
maybe the 20 somethings![]()
Just thought it was time for another "do all gay men" thread. We have not had enough lately.

It is sometimes hard to find nice clothes these days that DON'T have a label showing somewhere, but I must admit to an increasing desire NOT to provide free advertising for these people.
Yes it was. I still remember when A&F absorbed its predecessor in the high-end New York sporting-goods-store biz, Von Lengerke & Detmold, a bit after WW1. They weren't so big in street clothes then - more like guns, canoes, shooting jackets, yachting outfits, life-size cardboard cutouts of Ernest Hemingway, etc.I remember going to the big A&F store in NYC with my dad when I was a kid. Back then it was a high end sporting goods store.
A&F is straight garbage...but I love Hollister. I know it's almost a contradiction, but they are very different brands.
