Do all the men in your family share the same circumcision status: cut vs uncut?

My dad was cut as were both of my brothers and myself. My three boys are cut. In retrospect, I should have left my boys uncut and let them make that decision for themselves.

I totally agree, my boys got cut because that’s all my wife knew since I was and she wanted them the same as me. I wish I had more balls at the time to tell her no! Lol

More or less the same story for me. My wife thinks uncircumcised penises are ugly and didn't want to deal with teaching the boys how to clean them. If I was on LPSG back then, and more informed, I would have put my foot down and said no.

Lol me to wife really doesn’t like uncut cocks either but I think that’s because that’s all she ever knew, if I was uncut I’m sure she would have been fine with it.

All of my cousins are uncut as are my dad and his brothers, it’s a really uncommon thing to be cut, i am cut due to medical reasons but I will have my sons be uncut since I know that’s the natural way they’re gonna be born

My dad and cousins are cut, I assume my grandpa and uncles are as well. My dad has always been the black sheep of the family, he does things his own way. I guess leaving my brothers and I uncut was just another way he differed from the rest of the family. Thankfully!

as far as i know being uncut with long foreskin is trend for all males in our family tree, leaving very few exceptions like one of my nephews who got circumcised due to medical reason

Dad and brothers all cut. There was discussion about why, I remember we were cut since my dad was, the discussion was with my parents, I don’t remember how it came up.

Father and brother are uncut, while uncle and cousin are cut (mother’s side, cousin’s was RIC, born in the US). I believe my mother’s side are mostly cut, as from what I gathered tight foreskins run in the family and circumcision was the default treatment for it back in the day. Mine wasn’t much better, but mum was against me being snipped, and they did steroids and stretching on mine instead. This led to some scarring and I was also left with some degree of frenulum breve, which then turned to BXO in my late teens. I ended up getting cut anyway in my early 20s. In hindsight, I wish they’d just stuck with it and had me done as well. I’m currently ambivalent about what I’d do as a future father, as I’m worried I might pass on the bad foreskin genes. My partner is pro-RIC, especially given my background, and would probably have none of it if I opposed it. She saw me go through BXO and an adult circ and is keen to avoid exposing a future son to that. Not trying to conceive for at least the next 5 years or so, luckily, so not going to have that conversation too soon I hope. I secretly wish for a daughter when we do though. It’s a contentious topic and I’d be glad to avoid having family feuds as my mum is anti-circ and we live in Britain after all.

Circumcision is genital mutilation, it's fucking horrifying. I'm restoring my foreskin. I'll be the first in my family in 2 generations to have a foreskin, none of my sons are going to be put through that bullshit. Fuck my parents for doing that to me. I'll never forgive them.

I believe that My dads side of the family is all cut but on my mothers side there are 2 of my cousins that are uncut. i am very jealous that they got to stay uncut.

My father was uncut. The only other family member I have seen would be my uncle is cut, but he married into the family. Both of my nephews are cut, I only know because my sister asked me about it when they were born. I told her that I was against circumcision, but as usual she never listens to what I have to say. I should tell my nephews they can blame their mom.

All cut in my family from my Dad and uncles to my generation and my boys; nephews too as far as I know. Uncommon in Britain but no complaints.
