All of the make members of my family, (my father and two older brothers) are all uncircumcised. I only got cut about ten years ago due to phimosis. I had a problem with getting hard and tearing the skin as well as the inability to retract my foreskin at all. It was so painful I got it done. I’m used to it now, but it took about a year to get used to it. The surgery was t too bad, but it’s left me with a pink band of skin around the head. At least sex is more enjoyable now. I used to dread every hardon.

Well it looks well healed and no frankenstein scars. Laser? Mini staples? It doesn’t look like a NHS cut

No. Not an NHS cut. It was done in the US, where I’m from originally. The doctor was very good. I worried about scarring, but used a lot of vitamin E on it.

There’s a procedure where the doc basically removes a band of skin at the base of the cock, slides the foreskin back and stitches it together. Any scar is by your pubes, all the sensitive skin is preserved at the head. Brilliant idea

That is basically what he did. I have a small scar at the base of my shaft.

Ohh so no cut near the head
There are two small ones where the skin was to tight, but that’s about it. Like I said, it did leave a pink patch of skin right below my head.

Total maybe 90% but newborns now are about 2/3 circ.
I feel the circ rates have always been vastly inaccurate and understated. A CDC report from 2013 said that the newborn circ rate dropped from like 64% in 1979 to 58% in 2010, with a "high water" mark of 64.9% in 1981. There's absolutely no way that's close to accurate.

It's about 75% for younger men. There's no universal tracking system and it's obviously not on the census. Reports are based on samples or voluntary self reporting. Also, in some hospitals L&D doesn't do them, it's done post discharge during follow up visit. That's why it's underreported.

My dad is uncut, my older brother is fully cut, and technically I'm cut too but I look uncut because they only took off a small portion of foreskin so it could retract, so I still have a hood.

I always felt lucky that I preserved my foreskin, and I still do, but just recently I found out the most sensitive part of it is precisely the very tip, the so called ridged band, which is what they cut :skull:. I only have a few of it left, but that's better than nothing

Outside of that, I would assume all of my uncles are uncut. From my cousins only one was circumcised.
