All I can say is that for a healthy prostrate...wank it occasionally...:yup:

I'm following behind two generations of prostate cancer on my dad's side. A stroker and a Brazzers subscription should be covered by my health insurance. :biggrin1:

Without FEAR and GUILT there would be no Christianity. WTF! Hypocrites!

Ask him which is a bigger sin, masturbating or lying about it. Churches should stay the hell out of our sexuality and stop trying to make us feel guilty. A lot of religion is guilt and shame based and then they have the audacity to protect clergy that abuse children!

No. They don't :)

The Roman Catholic Church condemns masturbation as a sin of the flesh ', one of the "sins against chastity ". The perception of sexuality should the Church take place only within marriage for the purpose of begetting children.

The Catholic Church teaches that "Masturbation constitutes a grave moral disorder" and that "both the Magisterium of the Church—in the course of a constant tradition—and the moral sense of the faithful have declared without hesitation that masturbation is an intrinsically and seriously disordered act."

Well I do! :biggrin1: Being Christian doesn't mean accepting everything the Church says, not to me anyway.

Not any lustful viewing, only lustful viewing to a woman that is not your wife while you are married.

The number of people saying "I am a christian and I masturbate" in this thread is just silly though. I hope that they didn't read the OP's post or something, because they aren't really answering the question. The question relates only to the absolutely devout Christians... and I doubt you would be posting on this website as a completely devout Christian.

You're really splitting hairs. Christianity as a whole has many sects and denominations. What would be considered devout in one church , may not be devout in another. Not every Christian is a nun, monk, priest, Amish etc. Some give up modern conveniences because of their faith, others dress a certain way. But to assume those who masturbate are not devout , is pure ignorance. Ofcourse , many devout Christians masturbate. Many dont. Its a matter of their personal conviction and less to do with the basic tenants of Christianity itself as in relation to the Bible.

Masterbation is not a sin. Lusting is.. I'm a christian man and I agree with most of you who recognized that saying the church deemed masterbating a sin not God. If masterbateing leads you to lusting or you can't madterbate without lusting then stay away from it. I know for me not having sex until I'm married sometimes arousal just happens with my penis from no sexual activity over a while so when my penis gets erect I don't need porn to stimulate a natural hard on thats already there I just pray to God for permission and once he gives it to me I release all that door mat seamen which can cause health problems

If that's the gang bang this one is the ejaculation, at 2:55 :biggrin1:

Zadok the Priest:The Coronation Anthem - YouTube

In answer to the topic of this thread - of course Christians wank. And lust. It is part of being human. Christians are human. In religious terms it is the sin of Adam. By all means acknowledge a sin but don't deny the wonder of humanity either.

I have an associate who claims, and I have no reason to doubt him, that he has never utilized his penis for the purpose of ejaculation of any kind. He grew up in a church run by a family member and is 100% convinced that he will burn in hell if he touches his erect cock. He has also never had any type of sexual activity whatsoever because that too, he believes, will land him burning in hell. I gave up telling him of the joys of beating off. There is no question that I would either have exploded or gone completely insane if I did not masturbate on a very, very regular basis. I normally say "to each their own" but in this case I just don't get it. I will add this is one of countless examples of why I think Christianity in an organized sense is horrendous. I can't imagine preaching to another human that enjoying their sexuality is a bad thing. Such preachers, in my view, are the ones destined to burn.

The basis for the pogrom on masturbation is stupid anyway ...

What do the church and masturbation have to do with ethnic cleansing? . :wtf2:

... Thanks for the AIDS epidemic in Africa catholicism :-/

A correlation that could be made only out of total ignorance. Catholicism isn't particularly prevalent in Africa. In fact, the only continental population with a lower percentage of Catholics is that of Asia.

No any sex outside of Christian marriage sends you straight to the gates of eternal flames.

What the hell, I'd rather be amongst friends than surrounded by a bunch of pious strangers.

Masturbation is perfectly normal and healthy so long as it's not done to excess. Most people do it regardless of their religious beliefs or lack of them. The only time it's a problem is when it's running people's lives for them and they're enslaved by a masturbatory addiction - which is no better or worse than any other addiction. Speaking for myself, I'm a Christian of the moderate CofE variety, I enjoy good music and literature be it sacred or secular, I have Christian and non-Christian friends - and yes, I masturbate sometimes!

The data base is shrinking rapidly. Statistics indicate that while 75% claim to be Christian, only 15% practice. So, if you don't practice then you will not garner any of the so called potential guilt, which is laughable anyway. I suspect that those that claim they don't are the stereotypical hypocrite.

On a side note it was announced yesterday that the Pope gave SAINT titles to the two previous Popes. I would be curious if he polled the molested boys and their parents what they thought of Sainthood for these Popes. Of course I suspected they never masturbated? Hypocrisy?

The Roman Catholic Church's record on safeguarding, in common with that of some other organisations, has sometimes been lacking in the past and abusive priests haven't always been dealt with in the ways that they should. However strenuous efforts have been made in recent years to put that right and so far as I understand, the church follows the same safeguarding/DBS rules as other organisations and clergy who break the law can expect to be dealt with as robustly as anyone else. I don't think it's fair to regard past failings in this regard as any kind of slur on the characters of John XXIII or John Paul II.

As regards the canonsations I'm happy about Pope John XXIII because a decent interval - 50 years - has elapsed since his death and he was instrumental in convening that important council, Vatican II. I'm less happy about the canonisation of John Paul II because he's only been dead a matter of nine years and I think more time should have been allowed for mature reflection upon his pontificate.

Did either of them masturbate? Well, does the Queen go to the toilet?

Yes, they do. It's a natural urge, and I've yet to meet anyone who doesn't, lol.

I would change the question to "do christian males masturbate?" I have known just a few who said they did not, but most did. One the other hand I have knowr a number of women who did not learn this art. Nothing to do with religion. We men handle out penis every time we pee. It's hard not to play.
I do and I am christian.
