I agree with a number of posts in this thread. Yes - it is dangerous and it can and has led to arrests both in bars and video rooms. While the number of people doing hard time for the crime is low it is still a public embarrassment and a stain on a record that will impact you getting a lot of jobs. A friend of mine was in the State Police. He worked hard to qualify and graduated the academy with honors. Yes - it is risky and can have far reaching consequences. A friend of mine graduated the State Police Academy. He worked hard to qualify and he had a degree in Law Enforcement from a major college - rare for the Staties as an entry level guy. He graduated from the Academy with honors and was in his probation period when a late background check came back with a citation for urinating in a parking lot when he was 18.
