I went to a gay club with a lesbian friend once and she told all the guys i was straight... but they all came on to me big time and I felt I could have had any of them. Do gay guys find it a turn on to bed a straight guy??

A lot of us find it a very hot fantasy. Forbidden fruit and all. And it's not all that much of a challenge if the circumstances are right.

It can end up pretty messy, though. Often the guy is "straight" with prominent quotation marks and is going through some very serious questioning of his sexual identity. Other times, alcohol or drugs are involved and it's something the guy will be uncomfortable about later.

In general, I stick with guys who at least self-identify as bi.

it's not that much of a challenge anymore, there's a tidal wave of "str8 but curious" guys out there now, maybe cuz of the internet, guys can check out gay porn anonymously? and then they see it's just normal guys havin fun? instead of isolating it in their minds as the opposite of who they are?

I completely agree with that actually and I think they see a lot of gay for pay stuff where the straight guys start off dubious and end up really enjoying themselves, either for real or faked who knows, and they think that they'll give it a try see if they're missing out.

I have known quite a few guys who identified as 'straight' until I miraculously changed them over. I figure that's a scam they have played with a lot of people because they know it appeals to some. Personally, I would rather bed a gay guy than a 'straight' guy because at least the gay guy will know what he is doing :) *this references having experience with other men, not just sex in general*

It has seemed to me to be like this: Gay guys try to seduce str8 guys, str8 guys try to seduce lesbians, lesbians try and seduce str8 women, and str8 women try to seduce gay guys. I think it has got to have something to do with trying to get what we can't have while at the same time it giving us a degree of satisfaction that we get approval in some way from whoever we are trying to seduce. I honestly believe it's more complicated phychologically then it seems on the surface.

On the other hand, it really may be as simple as going after what we can't have. lol

I find the bi/curious tend to seek ME out. I am much more successful with bi guys than gay guys for some reasons. I've been many guys first time over with a dude over the years.

This is a great observation, Capitolhillguy. I've also been many guys' "first time experience with another guy". I do wonder what it is that attracts people to each other? Most likely as complex as human nature is.

With respect, one reason why 'straight' guys (which, let's face it, usually means closeted gay guys in this context) are 'easier' is because they're less likely to be picky! Sometimes you're the only gay guy they know: they're not likely to be doing the scene or making gay contacts in other ways. I know a few gay guys that cruise 'straight' scenes: science fiction conventions, for example, knowing there'll be bi-curious guys there who will be eminently seduceable and wonderfully desperate for someone to make a move on them.

I find the opposite with "Bi" guys online; they like to call themselves Bisexual [because of confusion from Asperger's syndrome or just being college aged], but really, the only male-male sex they'll ever have is with a best friend, or a supermodel. You, a stranger over 40, have no chance.

Did you by chance find this out after using the mens room?

I personally think that gay men and women who chase after straight men and women give us all a bad name.

Why would I want to sleep with someone who probably does not know how to bring another man pleasure? Weird. and Pathetic.

I think this has a lot to do with it.

In my case, I'm not really attracted to gay guys unless they're indistinguishable from straight except in the bedroom. And I love being the straight guy's first mm experience.

I've never cruised straight guys in my life, nor have I ever set out to seduce straight guys, but I do have a lot of straight male friends. Most of them would also have a lot of gay male friends, they have eyes in their heads and they can tell if a guy is good loking or not, and those straight guys who I have shagged over the years would be as concerned as I am that the men they want to experiment with are hot and at least in their league so to speak.

I've never been to, nor have any intention of going to a "science fiction convention", and have no idea why it would be a place to look for bi-curious or sexually frustrated men. I'm also interested in why you think these conventions are in some way a straight scene as you put it.

Perhaps it's where I live but the getto mentality which imagines that straight and gay live in segregated worlds where sexual interaction between them is an impossibility or that casual sexual experimentation signifies a latent sexuality which overides the persons self identified sexuality is all alien to me.

I've had sex with women in the past (once or twice), and enjoyed it, I suspect it's possible I might do again sometime, but I'm not Bisexual or Bi-curious, I'm Homosexual.

If a straight guys enjoys the odd bit of cock now and then, perhaps even just the once or twice in his entire life that doesn't automatically make him gay, or bisexual. He could just be experimenting and having a good time nothing more nothing less.
