One of my best friends (a guy) comes home with a straight dude almost every time we go out...I've made it my goal to bed at least one before I graduate lol

Has he shared any trade secrets with you? If not, have you been able to discern what his methods are from watching him?

I know a guy who used to travel a lot. He wouldn't go to gay bars when he was out of town, he'd go to the hotel bar and said he'd get a straight guy just as often as if he had gone out to the gay bars.

I went to a gay club with a lesbian friend once and she told all the guys i was straight... but they all came on to me big time and I felt I could have had any of them. Do gay guys find it a turn on to bed a straight guy??

yes. although it gets easier as i get older.

No, but I guess it is different. A straight guy is likely to be less comfortable about what he is doing and maybe more innocent. This can be fun sometimes: it is fun to be 'bedding' someone eager. On the other hand it can be a real pain to have to give people lessons.

it's not that much of a challenge anymore, there's a tidal wave of "str8 but curious" guys out there now, maybe cuz of the internet, guys can check out gay porn anonymously? and then they see it's just normal guys havin fun? instead of isolating it in their minds as the opposite of who they are?

Hey man, I think that is totally the case. I hooked up with countless "straight" guys when I was in college. I think many if not most guys have at least some degree of sexual attraction to other guys. In the past when there was no internet the only way to explore this was to hang out in a cruisy mens room, go to a cruisy park, or go to a gay bar.

There are a lot of guys (myself included) who would NEVER be caught dead in one of these places trying to pick up dudes. Too damn much chance of getting busted by the cops (like Larry Craig did), and being publicly humiliated, losing their job, rejected by their family, etc, etc. Now with the Internet guys can now explore their homosexual fantacies by looking at gay porn in the privacy of their own home, and even meet up with a like minded dude on craigslist, Adam4 adam, or even Match.com and try it out without anyone finding out.

Honestly, if it had not been for the internet I seriously doubt that I would have ever done anything sexual with another guy because before the internet I knew of exactly two gay guys and both of the guys were so flaming they would have set the closet on fire if they tried to hide in it. LOL

It has seemed to me to be like this: Gay guys try to seduce str8 guys, str8 guys try to seduce lesbians, lesbians try and seduce str8 women, and str8 women try to seduce gay guys. I think it has got to have something to do with trying to get what we can't have while at the same time it giving us a degree of satisfaction that we get approval in some way from whoever we are trying to seduce. I honestly believe it's more complicated phychologically then it seems on the surface.

On the other hand, it really may be as simple as going after what we can't have. lol

This is good. Well put.

We all think (flatter ourselves?) that seducing someone who is not supposed to be interested in our kind of sex will be such a hot experience that she/he will be immediately (and permanently) converted to our side.

The loony, cock-eyed optimism is kinda endearing. As if an encounter with a frat boy's 5-inch cock will induce a dyke to give up pussy.

I never found it to be that much of a challenge. Goddamnit i've gotten with some hot bi guys. But in all those situations they came to me. I find it uncomfortable to hound a guy like that. I'm not desperate. But in general the thought of getting off is never a bad idea as guys we can all agree. I think that if it we're in (which it kind of is in my social circle) there would be as many guys hooking up as those uninhibited, clearly gonna marry a man, pseudo lesbos you see making out on the dance floors at clubs. Where i'm from guys do that for attention, because they're bi, or because they're malcontents who can't control themselves, but theres no real repercussions. No uncomfortablility, no ricochet whatsoever. The other day a straight friend of mine got really trashed and tried to bed me but it turned him down cause he was to drunk. Later he got offended when he finally put the pieces of that night back together and remembered. Which really pissed me off cause he's quite good looking.
