Men will always have a higher sex drive because their reproductive system always produces cum so their cocks always need a release. I cant say about women because I've never been a woman however from the ones I've lived with they have no sex drive at all or maybe they just dont show it. However when a man cums he needs a few hours to restore before he can cum again. A woman doesn't need to wait.

Men (generally) have higher sex drives because of testosterone.... Not the amount of ejaculate they can produce.
Men have more testosterone than women usually.
There are exceptions.
Some women (my girl, for example) have higher than average testosterone levels.
As a result, they can have higher sex drives.
Also, if the females you've been with don't ever want sex, it might be that they want it.... Just not from you.
My girl likes to fuck.
She initiates often.
I couldn't stop her if I tried. (And that's never gonna happen. She's just too freaking good!)

Absolutely. As a bi dude it is so so so much easier to have casual sex with guys because, well, we basically always want it

but that's not necessarily because your lady friends have a lower sex drive, as a previous post said, women are more psychological and men more physiological, so it may just be they are more choosy, want to be 'romanced' or 'chased' or other.

but not saying and immediate 'yes' to casual sex, is not a good indicator of anyone's sex drive?

Just from my personal experience I'm going to say yes with exception. Some women are ready to fuck at the drop of a dime.

Men at least me. I am always horny and ready to get laid. Depending on the sex I don't need to wait hours to go a second or third round.

I think the fact that we're constantly making testosterone and sperm that it's in our DNA to want to have sex, or jack off. We just want to spew a nut.

Having said that, I know plenty of couples where the wife wants more sex than the husband. It's always been the other way around for me. I can't get enough.

My wife has a much higher sex drive than I do.

I have rarely met a woman who has the sex drive...virility...to keep up with mine...even if some women are essentially "insatiable"....the stretching...along with the many orgasms...has usually caused even the "insatiable" women to want a "break" to rest for a while.

For fuck sakes; yes! Prior to maybe just the last 30 years of political correctness, this was a given in every culture known to man. Testosterone has certain effects, it makes you stronger, hairier, more aggressive and hornier. The libido, at least physiologically, is fueled by one hormone in both men and women, and that's testosterone. Men produce it by the gallon, women by the trickle. There are obviously exceptions, but the overall rule is that men are horny bastards, women not so much. It sucks.

My experience is that it is not so much a case of greater or less but more about consistency. This is very anecdotal because this is about my wife of who I have the most experience but there have been times when she is insatiable and times when she's completely lost interest and it seems pretty linked to her cycle.

As men, we don't have that cycle and we also don't have pregnancy to change things for a while. As soon as we've had long enough since the last orgasm to build up a decent load we're horny and looking for an opportunity.

But, of course, with all generalisations there will be exceptions too.

When I was younger, I would have said "of course men have higher sex drive than women." But as I've gotten older I've decided that it's not so much that men have a higher sex drive, it's just a more wide spread sex drive.

For example, when I was in college, I wanted to fuck constantly, as long as the girl was attractive, I was into it. I noticed that women I was dating in college could easily match my sex drive on a daily basis, they just wanted to only have sex with me.

Flash forward a number of years, and I'm in that boat now. For a while I actually thought my sex drive was diminishing, but I've realized it's just more fine tuned. I still want to fuck whenever I can, but I have more of a fine tuned idea of what turns me on. It used to just be the thought of breasts or a pussy, but now that I've experienced all that I have, I have learned what really turns me on.

I feel that many women are just like this naturally. They are just as horny as we are, they are just more selective on what turns them on. Maybe? I dunno, women are interesting puzzles haha.

Healthy men have 500-1100 ng/dL of testosterone

healthy women have 15-70 ng/dL of testosterone

men are swimming in testosterone and therefore have higher hormonal induced libidos

womens libido comes from other factors such as a dopamine fix
A cortisol fix
Oxytocin fix(love hormone)
Or from lust or excitement
Or from estradiol levels which causes women to be horny
Womens reproductive age and reproductive cycle stage also plays a part

libido for women has a lot more variables and is more like a “mood” or a need for a fix

The horniest women from my experience are early 20s women and older 42+ women and I believe it’s because older women have higher testosterone levels and younger women have a hunger for reproduction

I had some early 20s women wake me up during the night twice for sex and even had sex in the morning; day in and day out for months

a man’s libido is raw and primal and driven from sex hormones tho

A few hours? Not for anyone my age. Maybe for older dudes

I guess it depends on what motivates a sexual drive. If the argument is sex for the sake of sex itself, then I think men on average far outpace women not only in the amount of sex they desire, but in the variety of sexual opportunities they will choose from. I think that for women on average sex is paired more with other priorities than just the opportunity to reproduce or have an orgasm.

I think it varies massively person to person and within the genders. As members of this site I'd say we are much more likely to have an above average sex drive.
I have no evidence to back this up, but here is my 2 pence worth from my experience: Men have a fairly constant sex drive (but will build up the longer they don't cum) but women vary based on current circumstance, i.e. they have a partner who is very good in bed or turns them on a lot. If they do their sex drive gets higher and can get encouraged more by it, whereas men's sex drive may increase with a good partner but won't be as influenced by this as women.
