Group sex in general is challenging for most people.
The "straight" circle jerk concept in my opinion is sort of an urban legend - wank fantasy thing for guys that are probably bi or gay.
Although it may happen, I am not convinced there is an abundance of gay men that engage in circle jerks.

I hear about it, but haven't done it. Some straight friends in college and high school talked about it, and I don't think they were fibbing. There may have been some latent homosexuality, but they ID as straight.

I guess I'll be the first "yes". Team showers after games sometimes ended up in circle jerks. Lots of straight guys involved, in fact, mostly straight guys. It was really considered "gay" to do that back then. Just horny high school boys.

I don't want to get into theories of homosexual latency. Most of my classmates are straight. But jerking off with buddies or teammates was just considered guys being guys, not guys being gay.

I participated in a few of them many years ago. The guys I jerked with were (at least said they were) straight. I don’t think there was actually a turn on for doing a circle jerk, it was just a group of oversexed guys releasing sexual buildup. It was more of a “joke”/messing around than a true sexual encounter. For me, I think it may have lead to my interest in exploring some bisexual experiences but it wasn’t my initial bisexual curiosity that lead me to seek out an opportunity for a circle jerk.
