No one ever said human relationships could be easily explained. We all have them but I expect most people have never tried to understand why they think/behave as they do.
B. F Skinner’s work with positive and negative reinforcement likely explains much of why we get turned on by seeing someone else having sex, masturbating, or just looking at a favorite body part. We know what sex feels like so our mental and physical systems join in with some character in the video, novel, or memory we have. It’s a common human process. For example, people who study diabetic issues report that just the thought of eating bread can significantly increase insulin production and activate the digestive process.
I agree with bigbull69 and others who report that competition, admiration, and ownership may explain some of why most men like to study / see all things dicks; and that this behavior is “normal”. However it is my hunch that there is more to the phenomena. Here is one antidote / example I can’t explain.
I don’t travel through the Internet porn world a great deal, mostly because of virus or malware threats. When I do go exploring, my hits are almost 100% gay. When there is a choice on a site I identify as gay and select only gay material. So why is it that 80% of the time and after viewing totally hardcore gay video that the host site throws me back to some form of live female sex view and chat site?
Since these sites are there to make money, I can only conclude that the host site knows who their customer base is. It must be men who get all charged up on XXX gay sex fantasies, and then are willing to pay female models for another kind of thrill. Or perhaps gay men need some form of alternative relief. How can this be explained?
