- lgej,
my gf loves porn, first girl I've been with that really enjoys it
And I'll bet she's really good in bed...as good as anyone you've been with. Enjoying porn speaks to a lack of inhibition in my mind. Comments?

BTW... if women don't enjoy porn then the real question is why. Is it a cultural reason or a biological reason.
You didn't read the thread.
A lot of women do enjoy porn. It's just that there idea of what qualifies as good porn is frequently drastically different from what guys think.
I don't agree with that statement. I don't like porn because it's just not real and often depicts women as being brainless and without any emotion except to enjoy whatever the man has in mind. I don't know, maybe I just haven't seen any worth watching, but I do not see how this corlates to a woman being inhibited in bed. A woman loses her inhibitions when she feels safe and connected to her partner. When I am with a man I like and trust enough to be intimate with there is no end to my imagination, enjoyment or lack of inhibition...I'm very creative and very much in tune to his needs and frankly, porn just doesn't even come close to that! And I'll bet she's really good in bed...as good as anyone you've been with. I haven't read the entire thread but am afraid if you have to ask the question: "Do women really enjoy porn?" then probably the answer is no. Actually I am one of the many millions of women world wide who like porn. :biggrin1: There are certain types which I find distasteful or down right creepy. My likes vary a tad bit but right now I like the amateur stuff. I hate 90% of the over done professional studio porn. Why? The men are often butt ugly, the women always have bad boob jobs, they rarely look like they are enjoying themselves. Porn trends I dislike: facials, gang bangs, women fucking on beds in 5" heels, ass-2-mouth, drinking cum out of champagne glasses, scenes where women gargle drool and play with the cum.
(otherwise you'd see them go as hog wild about it as we do.)
Oh for heavens sake, we aren't 14 year old boys! Women tend to be much more discreet than men.
BTW... if women don't enjoy porn then the real question is why. Is it a cultural reason or a biological reason. Neither! Why on earth would it be biological?!? Please tell me which cultures approve of, and encourage the watching of pornography.
Dude, do you know any women? Cause you are so far off base I'm guessing you were raised by Tibetan Monks.

No. I know women kind of like porn but it doesn't compare to how men get off on it.
I think it is a cultural reason why women aren't as into porn as men are. Let me give you an example. When I was 12 my uncle gave me tons of his porn magazines and DVDs. I just don't see that happening with 12 year old girls (YMMV).
So, our culture really DOES endorse and encourage porn for men but not so for women. Women have to be "good girls" in our society.
The "good girls" grow up to be sexually repressed women.

Hey, I resemble that remark. Or at least I did until I encountered my first 8x6 cock. :biggrin1: Truth be told I started reading my dads Playboys in the 2nd grade and my moms erotica in 4th grade. I told the raunchiest jokes on the playground. :biggrin1: I know . . . I'm an anomaly.

Good for you for enjoying and please remain being your anomaly self! I always feel like an anomaly as well. It's not easy feeling like you're out there all alone.
As a woman I find that words turn me on more than pictures. I love to read erotic stories.
Yongdo -- I'm going to vindicate you. I'm one of the few women who doesn't watch porn.
I don't like it.
Every now and again, I'll look at amateur porn, but more from curiosity. It all looks fake and stupid to me.
Here's my biological: Women are nurturers. The are not as visually centered as men are. They would rather be with just one man and are not generally as poligimous as men are. (but are these in fact cultural pressures and not biological? I don't know)
So this goes back to my statement:
If women in fact don't like porn (the way men do) then is it cultural or biological?
hotmilf do you like regular movies? I ask because we accept the fantasy in regular movies as real and live out the characters and in doing so can go through some kind of cathartic event. Eureka! I just had an epiphany. It seems some men like to imagine they are the guy with the big penis in the porn they are watching. I don't think I have ever thought of myself as the woman in the porn I watch. I focus on the big penis. This is probably why I enjoy amateur gay male porn. There is more focus on the all important big penis. :biggrin1: Plus you get to see the mens faces, and they kiss, there is often a tenderness that 98.5% of the time does not occur in straight porn. Hence my not imagining myself as the nekkid slut in high heels aka the female in professional porn.
Isn't porn just another kind of movie with a different kind of cathartic outcome?
I guess so.
That's my cultural argument. I love regular movies, I have a preference for romantic comedys, action adventure; and good drama.
Here's my biological: Women are nurturers. The are not as visually centered as men are. They would rather be with just one man and are not generally as poligimous as men are. I can agree with that statement. (but are these in fact cultural pressures and not biological? I don't know) Shall I split hairs and say it's more genetic than biological? I very rarely masturbate when I watch porn. I'm going off on a tangent here so I can't promise I will make much sense. Men can get blue balls, women do not get blue clit. Sure, we get horny and sexually frustrated; some of us more often than others.:wink: But most women are less likely to have porn addictions because we are not visually stimulated by the same things as men.
Yes, I agree! I wish I had read your post first, I wouldn't have rambled on so in mine. :redface:It's like you're half-way there, but went in a bit of a wrong direction.
I do get visually stimulated (very much so). But the things that I find visually stimulating are not the things that the porn industry appears to place much value on. I get turned on by arousal and lust and passion and intense pleasure and loss of control etc. But most porn is focused on the biological physicality of it all... tits and asses and penises and vaginas and fluids etc.
The things I like don't convey well at all to still pictures. You can find them in video porn, but they're almost completely absent from professional pornography.
You can find it in amateur porn, but even so you still have to search quite a bit to come across it.
So it's not about monagmy -vs- polygamy, and it's not about being unable to be turned on by the sight of something. It's about having specific interests that just aren't met by the porn industry (it's difficult for any kind of 'industry' to meet those needs, when you think about it. They're very largely tied to intimacy, and that's something that's absent in an industrial setting).
That make sense?
It's great that we can have this kind of discussion! I think your helping to define what we're talking about JennyS.It's about having specific interests that just aren't met by the porn industry (it's difficult for any kind of 'industry' to meet those needs, when you think about it.
