i mean not carrying posters in the streets saying you do,but if the topic comes up,or if you saw something in one where you had to say something about it to whomever you were talking to.
or do you act like you've never seen one at all.and if so why?

I'm not as free with porn around guys. But I've talked to a few of my girl friends about it. We talk about things that we see and what we like. Actually I have to add two guys, my bi guy friends will talk about anything and enjoy forcing it out of me :) I see no reason to hide what I like. And sometimes it's great to get to share how I feel with someone else that is not going to fall all over me for talking about it.

I can't imagine a scenario where it would come up!

I probably wouldn't if I felt that it would make other people uncomfortable. If someone else brought up porn, I might say something, but again, I really can't see it coming up in a "let's chat about it" sort of way, other than jokes of course, but then you just laugh and move on.

By the way, I didn't realize this thread was in "Women's Issues" when I posted in it. I saw "porn" in the title and my mind blotted out all other available sensory information.

I don't admit to it freely and it's not a regular topic of conversation.

A few weeks ago I was reading an absorbing internet article on my phone about anal sex, (OK, yes, it would probably be better described as porn and not strictly as an "article"). I was minding my own business, reading this on a virtually empty train. As the train slowed I looked around and a guy was standing directly behind me. I caught his eye and he grinned, winked at me and got off the train.

Getting caught looking at porn on a train. Not my finest moment  I hate people reading over my shoulder at the best of times. Nosy fucker!

Do lovers count? I talk about porn with lovers. I didn't think that's what the OP meant.

Oh! I can think of a situation! We accidentally acquired someone's else's porn collection in an auction win and we've probably told a few dozen people about that experience, and we talked about some of the items we got. We even told our parents about that. However, we did not bring up our own private porn watching or our own porn tastes in context to that story. Nope, not once when it came up in conversation. To be fair to us, the people we've told the story to didn't bring up their own porn watching either, so we didn't cross a privacy line there, we were just sharing an unusual and entertaining story about unexpected outcomes. So, I guess I don't talk about porn, even when it just happens to come up.

So, who are you talking about porn with IRL, and what do you talk about?

 Of course! The same thing happens to me!

That's hilarious! I don't think I'd have the courage to do that on the train! :lmao:

I <3 PORN! Not ashamed to admit it. I have porn on my phone at this very moment. Haha my most embarrassing moment? Having a lil issue with my phone it plays the videos along with music. And at the top volume level on the bus you hear suck my cock you fucking whore. Good times!

I just can't imagine these conversation coming up IRL. You must elaborate!

Seriously, all you people who say you talk about porn IRL, how does it come up and what do you talk about?

My bf and I openly watch porn in front of each other. So admitting it to him is nothing. I talk occasionally about certain things I've watched with a few girl friends but co-workers or other people of that nature I don't go around telling. It's just kind of one of those unspoken things that most people who know me know I probably do because of my personality.

IRL convo with my gf's it usually spurs from some ones comment that some random dude is cute. Then it starts with have you seen this sex tape. Then we talk about positions then it usually ends in shoe talk. Its never a blatant I like midget porn, well yea someone admitted that but its never anything graphic but we all know we have watched porn. One of my gf's only watches soft core porn. You know the fake late night cable porn. She thinks hard core is disgusting go figure.

I asked TheBoyfriend and he says he never talks about porn with anyone either. Jokes, yes, acknowledges the existence of porn, yes, but not actually talking about his porn or what he enjoys or watches with anyone IRL.

I didn't really know what to expect there. I thought men might talk about it with one another more than women, but he says that no one has ever brought up porn to him in a non-joking way.

Okay, so both of you have female friends that you discuss porn with? I have never talked about porn with a female friend! Even those women whom I am absolutely positive watch as much porn as me, I just don't know how it would end up coming up in conversation and I can't imagine how that conversation would go.

All those people we told about accidentally getting someone else's porn collection, not a single person volunteered personal information about their own porn tastes or about their own porn collections, even though we talked a lot about the things we got in detail. It seems like everyone is comfortable talking about a total stranger's kinks, but no one wants to talk about their own.
