Do you 'avert' your eyes??

To me it comes down to an easy statement: Just don't be a freak about it and it'll be cool.

Don't stare, don't get all tensed up. Nudity is nothing major, it's no different than a locker room situation. There is nothing to it unless one of you takes it in that direction.

Been naked around buds tons of times, their wives too from time to time at hot tub parties. Bud had a rule in his tub, no bodily fluids and no clothing allowed and everyone was fine with it.

It's no big deal, human nature to look just don't go all creepy perv oogling and it stays relaxed. :biggrin1:

Don't avert
Don't stare
Just be cool
Keep focused on the entire person and if they are talking-listen to what they are saying
That should do it!

If they are comfortable showing, I'm comfortable looking. This happened to me several years ago. I was visiting my late friend's brother when he changed out of the overalls he was wearing into some jeans. He was wearing the overalls commando. I was taken off guard when he dropped the overalls. But I didn't avert my eyes. Just acted like nothing was wrong. He was an ex military man as I am too. You get over that if you've spent any time in the military.

Thinking back on that, he was the guy that used to piss in the sink in his room. Our rooms had a sink and a mirror and there was a big gang rest/shower room for the whole hall. I asked him about peeing in the sink too and he said sometimes he's too lazy to walk all the way down the hall to pee.

I lived in a dorm that had a sink and a mirror in the room and the bathroom down the hall. I think everyone used to pee in the sink in their room. It got really inconvenient to walk down the hall to the men's room when you were drinking beer. If you made too many trips down there the RAs were likely to suspect that perhaps a keg had been smuggled in. haha

I had a large box that a Gateway desktop PC came in that worked great for the purpose of smuggling pony kegs past the RAs at the door. They would see me coming up the steps with my computer and hold the door open for me. Damn I sure miss those days.:biggrin1:

If a bud or I are changing, getting out of the shower, or whatever, in front of each other, I just treat it like a gym or college dorm. It's no big deal. I don't stare and I don't turn away in horror. I just keep doing what I was doing. I expect the same from them. It's not sexual. Only recently have men even concerned themselves about being naked in front of other men. I don't get it.

Partly due to coming of age in California when hippies roamed the earth, I have no problem with nudity, mine or others. Usually too relaxed to remember if I looked or not. OK, I look. Utterly no big deal.

I have a natural instinct to looking away from sex organs. Probably something to do with my culture/genetics. Even on the streets if a woman is sporting a substantial cleavage, my natural reaction is to look away. It goes without saying that if I happen to find someone I don't know too well nude, I would look away after catching a glimpse.
