I watched a program on tv about aliens/UFOs in the last 48 hours. It was quite strange to see some of the video footage that has been collected by enthusiasts and it gave pause for thought.

As big as the universe is, it would be arrogant to assume that this is the only planet with sentient life on it.

I really did not until I saw those Tea Party people on television at their convention. I just don't believe that so many human beings are going to have that bad of taste in hairstyle and clothing choices. Sorry mitchymo I really don't but I'll keep and open mind if I ever meet one and they demand to be given the anal probe!

    This.

I'm skeptical of abduction stories, and UFOs in the sky. If I can see my car and house from google maps from space, they don't really need to fly around so low we can see them if they are that advanced.

If it weren't for Roswell...there'd be no Stealth fighter craft technology in the US Military.

most people even many former UFO/conspiracy types believe that Roswell turned out to be nothing at all.

and to suggest there'd be no stealth fighter technology is total nonsense.

because there is no true "stealth" in our arsenal...all stealth planes in the US arsenal still give off a very definite radar signature...they are just much smaller then a plane.

besides, the Germans were experimenting with stealth technology as early as 1944...the Horten Ho IX flying wing was technically the first low-observable stealth aircraft, and the design of "flying wing" was later to be the design of what is today the B2.

Stealth planes are not invisible, nor do they have cloaking devices....they are made up of certain angles and radar absorbent materials....and yet still give off a radar signature...

I do believe that they are out there, but i do not buy into the hysteria of the Roswell "incident" as the holy grail of UFO encounters.

I do. Aliens in fact scare me but at the same time I am fascinated by them. I find myself doing research on aliens and then I get spooked and have trouble sleeping.

the universe(wich is a multiverse by theory) is 13.5 billion lightyears long
light travels at 1079 million kilometers an hour there are 8750 hours in a year so thats 9441250000000 kilometers in one year
now multiply that by 13.5 billion and you get the total distance in human kilometers
also if the multiverse theory applies it multiplies times infinity and you just got a glimpse of what awaits
so anybody who states that there are NO other lifeforms exept ours have got their heads so far up their asses they can lick their own tonsils

I'm sure there is sentient life elsewhere in the universe. But I doubt they'd have the means or the inclination to visit us.

Do I believe there is life out there? Yes. Do I believe they are coming to Earth? Not so much.

I'm sure they're out there somewhere. But I've seen no compelling evidence that they're here.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's intelligent life out there, but I doubt if we've had any extra-terrestrial visitors.

considering just how big the universe is it's hard to believe there isn't all kinds of life more and less advanced than ours out there. to believe their isn't requires a kind of faith that puts religion to shame.

In all likelihood there is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe, but none of the claims of visitors here on earth is at all credible.
