Nope! That's because, contrary to what you might read elsewhere in some threads here, Porn IS NOT REAL.

Just like in Hollywood, actors and actresses play a character. Regardless of their own sexuality in most cases.

I just don't get why someone's sexuality should matter when it comes to entertainment. Am I entertained? Isn't that the goal?

Re Porn: Does the scene/actor(s) make my dick hard? Isn't that the goal?

I know it is for me. :)

I care in as much as I think that Queer People should be the main benefactors of Queer Culture and Queer Content. If I'm seeking Queer Content, I want to spend my money on the work of Queer People. I honestly think pedestalizing straight men is a legit danger to the mental health of Queer Men.

nope - do not care about the sexual orientation of the porn star or anyone for that matter. After all, labels are only a starting point and there is a complete spectrum of differences in between the labels of gay vs. straight etc.

Could you elaborate more on what you mean here? I think I agree? But I also might not. I can't tell exactly what you're suggesting here
What I mean is easier to explain by taking me as an example. I used to say I am a 50% straight and 50% gay BI person. Now however I actually am somewhere maybe 60 or 65% gay, hell, IDK, maybe 70% gay as I have changed to want to suck cock more than eat pussy. My point is that we are all different and what BI for me is different than what BI for the next person is. We all have different definitions of what we really feel about ourselves yet we all use these narrowly defined labels.

For gay porn as long as they enjoy sex with men I have no problem. Don't care if they have a gf/wife/kids just be into it.

For lesbian porn I couldn't literally care less- I know on lesbian side tons of women are bi (leaning into girls) and they try (succesfully) to erase gay-for-pay girls out of self-respect. Frankly I barely even watch lesbian porn- its so boring.

Same goes for str8 porn- naturally most guys will be either str8 or bi because they are in porn only because they like fucking women. And women... since BG pays better there are a lot of lesbians or even asexual girls who are obviously disgusted by dick.
For some weird reason I am irritated when a gay pornstar try to proclaim his straigness but Idgaf when a girl in str8 porn do the same..idk.

Oh i get ya now. I totally agree then. As a bi person myself I know how very diverse the range of bisexuality can be. I've had so many shades/flavors of closeted bisexual guys of varying degrees of sexual attractions. It's crazy. And of course our attractions can shift and change over time. I can't say mine have very dramatically in the past like 10 years but I fully expect by my 30s or 40s things might look very different

Who cares....

Porn is just entertainment, just go and enjoy watching people having sex with each other. Regardless of their orientation.

On a side note, my partner and I live the lifestyle. And when we are with other couples we go and perform sex acts on them. So we are essentially sex performers just like porn stars but we don't paid for it. And none of these couples really care about anybody's personal sexual orientation.

It's an intriguing question...I can't say that an actor's hetero-divergent sexual orientation would preclude me from watching his exclusively straight material, but I do see them differently, like maybe I identify with them less? I'd be a bit more cautious of homo or bi-erotic situations being a part of his straight labeled material. I'm also not turned on by women performing with men doing bisexual things, so I look at the actresses that perform even in exclusively straight scenes with bisexual guys as open to that construct, which kills my buzz for them a bit as well.
Lesbians are mixed bag, the more femme appearing can do whatever they want and I'll still be turned on, more butch appearing whether it be straight or lesbian content don't really do it for me.

Do you care what orientation a porn star is? And if yes or no... please elaborate.
No, but you already know my stance on that subject. Long as the porn star is doing their job correctly and by that I mean the exact opposite of those guys from Men.com. (yall know which ones I mean)
While I have no issue calling out queerbaiters on certain things, I have no problem with G4P pornstars but the ones from the early 2000s were LEAGUES above the ones now, the ones from back then were so good no one cared that they were straight in real life cause when they were on camera, their mouths, dicks and asses were all doing what they were suppose to

I don’t really care but I think sometimes you can tell the straight guys are not that into it which is not great. It’s amazing when you can see that both guys are really into it and clearly getting off on each other.
exactly, Im not saying lgbtq porn stars dont make bad content sometimes but at least with them the lack of chemistry has nothing to do with the fact that theyre both guys. There are G4P guys that barely do anything or you can see it in their content that theyre really not into it and that is pretty much a turn off. Either learn how to act, hide your face or do str8 porn if the disdain is so apparent on your face

I think I've got a decent metaphor, because the question had me thinking if it were a loss of respect thing...but really I think it's just a reduction in admiration factor. So to me, finding out a straight performer is actually bisexual is akin to having seen all of Chuck Norris's body of work, then finding out at the height of his career he got whalloped by some out of shape guy in a fair street fight....it'd be like we always knew the roundhouses were choreographed, but a lot of the mystique would be gone..

Bisexual is like half straight basically. Not sure that analogy really works. Although I disagree with the logic regardless. There is no mystique because quite frankly. How and why did you figure they were straight to begin with?
