example--some guys wore boxers when younger and now wear briefs or boxerbriefs when older
I certainly changed styles of underwear from my teens, but I don’t think it had much to do with aging. It was more following fashion trends. Now, I think I choose my underwear for a variety of reasons ranging from practicality based on my planned activities, practicality based on what I might be wearing such as suits, shorts or sweats and based on whom I may have undressing me later in the day!example--some guys wore boxers when younger and now wear briefs or boxerbriefs when older
I'll bet the huge majority of guys did just the opposite: Briefs when young; boxers when older. It sux.example--some guys wore boxers when younger and now wear briefs or boxerbriefs when older
Well, it takes two to tanga!Started with Y-fronts, moved to briefs, then loose cotton boxers followed by a couple of tangas then thongs followed by g-strings becoming successively more flimsy and see-through although these day I'm more likely to be freeballing (commando).
Exactement! Il ne faut pas choisir comme un mouton. Les boxers sont pour les cons. Les slips--pour les vrais hommes.I switched to boxer briefs at some point because everybody seemed to do it. I'm kind of switching back to briefs though.
Wait, you wear WAFFLES as underwear??! Don't the little square indentation shows through your slacks?Briefs as a kid, boxers in high school, boxer briefs some time in college. Now I waffle between all three. Probably mostly boxer briefs, with briefs when running and boxers and briefs depending on the mood.

I started jr hi in 1972 and every guy in my all boys' school wore white jockeys or something similar. NO ONE wore boxers, which were considered the underwear of grandpa. I never even saw a guy in boxers till college and even then most wore briefs.
Somewhere in the , what, mid- to late-80's the "boxer rebellion" began, and suddenly righty whities were mocked as little boy underwear. Guys started wearing the biggest floppiest boxers they could find, a choice I could never underwear. Then boxer briefs came in as a kind of compromise, I guess. Maybe guys started to realize that flopping balls isn't always the best idea (unless they're flopping on someone's chin, of course). It seems that boxer-briefs are now the most popular, tho' I can't figure out why you need all that coverage on your thighs; to me, it's annoying. So I wear 2xist, Levis and David Archy POUCH briefs and a jockstrap for working out. I've often expressed the hope that the advertising world will get some hotshot athlete (like Michael Jordan back in the day) to promote wearing briefs and jocks and then we can have a counter revolution!
Minimal brief with string sides and narrow front and back.Well, it takes two to tanga!
What the hell is a tanga?
