I come from gearheads. My family has a long tradition of saving old buckets. My brother was almost disowned when he *chokes up* purchased a fully functioning truck for his first vehicle.

"Fully functioning truck" Hahaha.

I sold my 1970 Nova when I bought my first place in 2010 because I needed extra money. I kick myself in the ass for doing that. The guy I sold it to didn't take care of the car. It makes me sad.

I made a deal with the wife that once we pay off her student loan, half the money I make on overtime will be earmarked for my muscle car. I'm not sure in I want a 1963 Chevy Nova or a 1970 Chevy C10.

I have managed to hold on to my Cougar and my Malibu in spite of living in a parking situation. I've had offers, I just can't part with my babies. I put so much work into them, they really are my Chrome Babies. If anyone ran them into the ground I would have to hunt the buyer down and kill them.

<~~~ totally names and anthropomorphize her cars.

Blames repeated viewing of the Brave Little Toaster

I kinda wanna drive that Malibu one day. With @MickeyLee down to Mexico for tropical drinks and tacos and bikinis and SPF 100. With pets in tow

Seems like the beginning of a movie

I haven't been to Mexico in the longest time. Next time I go, I am going with Ms. Enid

Here's the problem with nitwits like you...you're under the deluded impression that all subjects of discussion are matters of opinion and that all opinions carry equal validity. Somewhat understandable, given the pervasive stupidity of the general culture, but wrong nonetheless.

That the Z is an iconic car isn't a matter of opinion, mine or otherwise. It's a reality supported by quantifiable facts:
First introduced in 1969, more than two million models of the Datsun/Nissan Z cars have been sold in 80+ countries to date, easily making it the most popular sports car in automotive history. Some of the most active and long-lived online communities are devoted the Z. In North America alone, there is a Z Car Club Association of more than 100 regional clubs whose purpose is for Z enthusiasts to meet and interact. Then there's the performance aspects of the cars to consider...Nissan has enjoyed a lot of success in the SCCA/IMSA racing circuits with the Z's. The twin-turbo Z32 dominated the GTS-1 class so badly in the early 90s that the governing IMSA changed their rules in 1995 to disallow the use of forced-induction engines.

So let's see...been around a long time, devoted following of owners and enthusiasts, won lots of professional races, sold more than any other sports car ever...yeah, I'd say the Z is pretty fucking iconic.

While you're certainly entitled to your opinion to the contrary because it's a Nissan, the facts plainly illustrate otherwise...which makes your opinion retarded. Class dismissed.

Even after all this time the sheer glorious aggression of the MAN is STILL a fucking turn on.
Still every bit as arousing as it did the day he first posted it.
No one could serve up a smack down the way he did.
It was a fucking gift every damn day.

*huge sigh*

Feeling nostalgic.

If he did he'd be banned with mins.

It'd fucking epic to watch though.

Like a red finned piranha dropped in a tank of koi.

He makes me look like a Kitten.....*grins*
