Seems like something inspired by pornography to me. I suppose it does go on but I wouldn't be prepared to pay someone to go to bed with me in any context.

It does seem like it's a bit of a thing, but I don't think it's quite commonplace.

I've never seriously considered treating sex as a monetary transaction, and I doubt I ever will.

[EDIT]: I'd also like to add that I have no particular (sexual) interest in straight men with respect to their being straight, and I find it rather odd of you to suggest that focus.

I have no issues with people doing it if it’s their choice and they are fully consensual. Similar to porn performers.

It is most likely to be a big thing in the community but I’m guessing more common from wealthy or powerful gays offering a straight boy money or access or opportunity in exchange for sex.

I guess some people think that if they want a really hot straight guy, say like Nick Sandell then offering him X amount is more likely to make it happen than Nick just offering it for free which he wouldn’t do because he is straight.

Bringing looks and fame into it is simply adding other variables that has nothing to do with the question.

If you were unattractive and of no importance or fame, Charles Laurent Marchand would want to be paid regardless of being gay himself.
