Your opinion/vote welcome.
a hot environment sometimes.
I voted yes. It's the tension of not being able to show it that makes it interesting.
It used to be more sexual, but now, due to prudent attitudes and my age, it is definitely not. Unless you consider guys doing the towel dance so "fags" can't see them to be sexual.
No. Its a place to change into your gym gear.
So far, interesting.
From my point of view i see it as being a sexual environment because nudity has always been a taboo thing, stupid i know but that's how it is.
So another question, do you think sexual orientation plays an important role in how the locker room environment is viewed? i.e. straight guys see it as innocent but gay guys far more likely to see it as sexual. I suppose that may be a daft question that perhaps has an obvious answer.
To me, it's just somewhere to get changed before or after a match or workout, although I have seen a fair amount of sexual behaviour in locker rooms in the past. It's interesting to note that if there is any, it's usually a "straight" guy. I've been to a number of gay sports events around Europe over the years, sharing locker rooms with up to 200 guys at some tournaments and haven't seen anything sexual taking place, whereas I have seen a few incidents in my local gym.
I think for some guys it is a sexual environment, and probably more so these days because there's so little nudity around and porn and locker rooms are the only places where they have access to naked male flesh. I suppose there can be a certain element of fantasy to it too. The thing is that most gay guys can just go out and get it if they want, whereas the married guys with an itch to scratch don't have the same options and opportunities.
Another point is that sexual behaviour is much more likely to take place in locker rooms with privacy cubicles rather than those with open changing areas and showers.
What he said. Walking around naked, guys looking. Very hot. And the gym is not gay. I go to a couple. In the UK and NYC. HOT HOT HOT. The tension.
No need to continue the thread after this one - this summed it up to absolute perfection.
Not at all. I don't like communal locker rooms at all actually.
For me, a bunch of naked men is inherently a sexual environment!
Sometimes a turn-off when it is mostly unattractive guys around, but often at my gym there are men who make me drool and make me want to fall on my knees in front of them.
Abs, shoulders, asses, cocks, on and on. It is dizzying!
Yes. My first orgasm was in a pool locker room, the summer I was 13, and I figure they'll always have an erotic charge for me because of that.
if its with my team, then no. With strangers in a gym, yes. I dont really look at them, but the fact they can see me, turns me on. Enough to look big, without being hard. Which is a plus
No. It's a purely functional environment. Change, workout, shower, dress, leave.
It depends on if the OP is in there showering...if he is, then YES very much so.
LOL I f***in love you!!! (pardon my french)
