Do you like the things that life is showing you
    Where are you going to?
    Do you know...?

The final preposition "to" is superfluous. The correct expression ends with "going."

I am going to grammar Nazi hell, where I expect to spend eternity bombarded with leet, ebonics, and text message communications..

Yes, and it can really only be countered with an 80s song.

Well we know where we're goin'
But we don't know where we've been.
And we know what we're knowin'
But we cant say what we've seen.

How true... and indeed certainly the only place I can be sure of going ('to' or otherwise).

I've always been rather fond of the Peter Pan attitude myself - to die would be an awfully big adventure.

Do I know where my life is going? No.
Am I enjoying the ride? Hell, yes.

Oh and novice - choon! Thanks for reminding me!

    I know where I'm goin',
and I know who's goin' with me.
    I know who I love,
but my dear knows who I'll marry.

I need no robes of silk
    nor shoes of finest leather
Just my lady lass and I
    strolling 'cross the heather

    Feather beds are soft,
    and painted rooms are bonnie
    I would trade them all
    for my handsome, winsome, bonnie

    All her wit and grace
    like a starry cluster shining,
    giving light and beauty
to this simple soul of mine.

    I know where I'm goin',
and I know who's goin' with me.
    I know who I love,
    my handsome, winsome, bonnie

You don't know where you're going to till you've got there, who knows what life is going to bring, today you're riding along comfortably then wham something hits you and any plans you had fall into disarray.

Do you get what you're hoping for
When you look behind you there's no open door
    What are you hoping for?
    Do you know?.....

Please consult Miss Ross on this.

Hootie, Miss Ross does not do country western I'm afraid.

Beautiful, just beautiful. Thanks Full Phil.

Your post reminds me of this Bab's song.

When your brain dies, you die. There is no knowledge to be gained when you are dead.

I'm just happy for every day. I made so much money this week

Not exactly, no. Dangling participles usually are (erroneously) placed at the beginning of a sentence, intended as a modifier, and end up functioning as a subject. "Staring at all the cocks, the straight guy watched the women" is an example.

Ordinarily, I like to join in with the grammar national-socialists. When it concerns lyrics, it has to be a very drastic abuse, or all bets are off. (My mixed metaphor for the day.) Lyrics and poetry have to be allowed some latitude. I really hate to think of what would happen if some dour old grammarian had final edit privilege over lyrics. "Scansion above all else, and grammar above scansion!"
