I never gamble, I wouldn't be any good at it, if I lost I'd be kicking myself, and on the odd occasions I've had the opportunity to gamble (it was roulette) I dithered about so much it was too late every time.

I play Roulette once a week or once every two weeks. I usually come out £50 or so up.

I am the world's worst gambler. I never win, it's never any fun, and I'm a sore loser. So I never gamble. I'm happy to watch someone else burn their money. I even have friends who can win a couple hundred or a thousand dollars.

    Not me baby.

When I go to Vegas, I leave everything behind except my money.

I wouldn't go to Vegas. I go to the humble betting shop two doors up from me. I put a tenner in and I usually win because I have such an amazing grasp of probabilities . Plus I don't mind losing.

Gambling is bad though. I probably get the 'bug' from my family. My mum and nan and great gran bet on horses which I think is ridiculous. They do the lottery too. I don't do the lottery.

I blew $50 in Vegas in one night some years back. What can I say, I'm a high roller.

I always intend to have just one bet a year - on the National of course, but then I always forget to go and put the bet on, every horse that would have been my choice has come a cropper one way or another.

I did that once, maybe twice then I decided I was sponsoring something that caused animals to die in the name of entertainment. Also, I lost the bet each time.

Horse racing is fixed too...Roulette is okay. As long as you know your limits and don't do silly bets. 1/36 isn't bad odds. Better than the lottery.

Anyway I'm really not as serious a gambler as I appear to be

I don't think they should continue the National, although it's a massive money maker it's brutal.

Just shoot them instead? It's cheaper, quicker and rarely televised.

What's the point of reality TV if they don't show any reality?!

I gamble, but I don't bet. (That is, I only spend money on things in which I can have some sort of affect on the outcome.)

I play a little hold 'em though mainly for entertainment, I'll be willing to place some money on most any 'communal' game of skill & chance and every now and then I'll play the lottery. S'about it.

I forgot I occasionally do the lottery if it's a double or triple roll over week.

Horse racing isn't as brutal as it is made out to be. What the national horses go through isn't any harder than what the cross country horses have to do at the Olympics (and yes I use to do eventing). No one says that that is cruel. Me and my boyfriend are trainers. My boyfriend is also a professional punter. Horse racing also doesn't involve rigging every race and has become quite honest in recent times. With that many camera angles, the stewards don't miss much.

While I have only had about 5 bets in my life, my boyfriend will have about 50 a day. I just tell him to tell me when he wins, lol. Its too stressful for me knowing when he looses. But at the end of the day, he comes out between $50,000 - $70,000 on top every year, so it isn't that bad. Supplements prizemoney anyway. :)
