I was never a big fan of hiphop music, but there is one upbeat song I liked. It was called 'There's No Stopping Us...', and it came out in 1984, when breakdancing was at its height. Who sang it?

I'm just curious. Thanks.

Herzlichen Dank, Alex! Du meine Güte, du bist ein tüchtiger Mann.:biggrin1:

That song brings back memories, memories of high school dances. It's hard to belive that the song is over 20 years old.

I watched the clip on YouTube. I must say that those fancy moves are just incredible.

It was an international hit for Ollie and Jerry ( Ollie And Jerry ).

It was used over the opening credits to the movie Breakin' (1984), which can be seen at YouTube:

I love the music in this movie. I have the soundtrack on cassette and cd. And it's true, I also have the movie on VHS.

My favorite song is Din Da Da by George Krantz. Just love that song. I don't remember this particular song but glad you found out who sang it.

Hugs and Kisses,

Karmen
