It has always seemed to me that baldenss is an "intensifier" of what you already are. If you are old and overweight, begin bald makes it worse

.... If you are young and muscled, a shaved head makes you look like a stud/fighting machine, as countless action movies will attest.

New item: I just learned in Anatomy & Physiology that male pattern baldness can be a sign of more significant endowment. It's the DHT, dihydrotestosterone, that encourages growth of penis during puberty, that also leads to premature hair loss in adulthood. Therefore, in my book, bald just got even hotter.

bald is just another aspect of appearance, and like all others -- tattoos, hairiness, skin color, musculature -- it does not make a man hot. a man is hot or he isn't. he just happens to be bald or tall or freckled or whatever. take a not-hot guy and shave his head, and he's still not hot.
of course, some things do affect one's hotness. remove your teeth, and it changes the shape of your face.
i understand some people fetishize certain aspects. ALL bald guys are hot (or "I can only find bald guys hot"). That's fine for them, but it doesn't work for me that way.

I am 31 and have been balding since I was around 18. Once it got noticable I began to buzz it. I have a good shaped head to be bald and think that bald men are very sexy. You do need the right shaped head to pull it off, cause some dudes just don't look good with it.

Yes, depending on how fit they are (burlier men tend to look better bald than skinny guys or unfit men). Same with girls- hot chicks can pull off shorter hair whereas not-so-hot women might find that longer hair works better.

Some are exceedingly sexy, others are average looking, still others are less than appealing (to me). It seems to be a combination of head shape, ear size, facial hair, eye setting, eyebrows and other things.

An installer guy came to my house yesterday, blondish-red, buzzed haircut, round toe western boots, bell bottomed levis, brown t-shirt, wide leather belt and hot as fuck. One of my favorite "types" of guys are the tall, stocky (good mix of muscle and chubby), bald ones with tattoos and beards/goatees. A good friend of mine fits that mold completely. I don't want to post a picture of his without permission, but he is dead sexy.

I used to not really like the bald look. But as I get older, I find that there are some bald guys that are absolutely stunning. It may be a combination of the way the guy looks and what is acceptable to society at this point in time. I don't really like the receding hairline with long hair. If you hairline is receding a lot, consider shaving it completely, or keeping it quite short.
