Yeah I agree with this. Sometimes the reason a drug is Rx only is because you really need to have a doctor monitoring your health once you're using it.

If you need it, have your Dr. prescribe it, which is easy and covered by health insurance, as long as you don't have other health concerns that would preclude the Dr. giving it to you. Pretty sure OTC would be more expensive than most prescription coverage's co-payments, especially if a generic is prescribed.

The health conditions that would prevent being prescribed either tadalafil or sildenafil are dangerous if present, and only a health professional would be able to determine their presence.

Unfortunately, ED drugs are not covered by many health plans, including some nationwide plans.
Fortunately, both Viagra (sildenafil), and Cialis (tadalafil) are available as generics, and there are great prices available using apps like GoodRx.

Go to a doctor and get it prescribed. Over the counter would lead to deaths and rampant miss use, which can be dangerous.
