Do you think the digital age has led to increased procrastination?

My days were once full of 'doing things', being creative, inventive, building, making. Now there are hours devoted to typing, to be entered into the ether. For what end purpose?

My days are still this, but less devoted to what could be more fruitful pursuits.

Just a question :)

I grew up as the digital age was becoming significant, so it grew up as I was. I remember pre-cellphone days. I remember pre-socialmedia days. And for me, things have changed but really not by much. I don't spend much time online (believe it or not, this is really the main "social media" site I frequent) outside of getting the news and a bit of entertainment with my coffee in the morning.

My job isn't one I can do online, and most of my hobbies are physical activities which don't include a screen at all.

The amount of posts I have may indicate that I'm always/very often online. There's a lot of between time I spend with no screen in front of me at all.

Time online doesn't get in the way of life in general for me, for which I am grateful.

I do know that business time on the pc has increased greatly over time. With that comes the easy distraction to...I'll just quickly google that, or have a perv at this....before you know it..............1 minute turns to 30.

I know one time when early on i frequented here more often I tallied the time to read a post, or peruse the forums, then to reply here and there.....it actually added up to quite a bit. Then thought back to what I did before digitization. Getting up and walking away was much easier then :)
