The one thing I've always noticed is that the guys obsessed with skin care whom I've known were all younger than me, and their skin didn't look as good.

I use Aloe Vera gel under my shaving cream and occasionally afterwards. Otherwise it's shower gel for me (all over, but I keep my hair short).

I've used Walgreens "Skin Essentials Beauty Lotion" since I was in my 20's. It is the generic version of Oil of OLay. I use it as aftershave because it sooths and does not sting.

Oh, yeAH. I use Clinique's face wash, scruffing lotion, and moisturizer. I've moisturized from year, and quit using alcohol-based after shaves a long time ago. I also use sensitive skin shaving cream and try to stay out of the sun.
Sheesh HickBoy! All those Clinique products, I had no idea you were so high maintenance.

Soap, shampoo, shaving cream ... and that's it.
I know I should moisturize, and I do for three days every five years or so.
One thing: When I shower or bathe, I tend to use rather cool water, so I keep the oil on my skin. (Wakes me up, too.)

I use a face scrub/exfoliant and just soap and regular shaving cream. I agree with Uncut that water is one of the best things for good skin. I usually drink more than the suggested amount every day and so far it's working well.

Not only that, I need to be fucked 4-5 times a day to keep my pipes clear.
That's no problem  but I have no idea when you think you will have time to use all that stuff.

LOL -- heard of them, well isn't it about time you actually USED them?! (Sorry.... couldn't resist the comment)

OK, I will admit that I use soap and toothpaste and even a bit of shampoo on what's left of the hair, but I can't stand the smell and feel of foo-foo skin care products, deodorants, colognes and all the other high maintenance products foisted on the public.

If you don't smoke, drink coffee and alcohol you don't rank-up so quickly and another interesting note that when I lived in the woods, building trails and backpacking your body odors are more natural and you don't work up a stink like you do in the big city.

This was pointed out by two college gals in the early 70's who went to great lengths to explain bacteria count etc., I believe that NASA also did a study that showed bacteria counts spike hours after washing and then reduces to a lower count.

I do shower, as does my wife, before making love.

Okay Men -

Do you indulge in skin care products? Do you have a night cream, eye cream, anti-gravity cream, moisturizer, firming cream, regenerating serum, or something even better?

I have not heard men speak of this here.

With the vain (excuse me - conscientious) parents that I have, such things were a part of my father's routine from the time I was a tot.
Mother, of course.

So as I matured, my guy friends were like "What the hell is that? That's gay!"
Girlfriends I have had have been like "Why do you have all that stuff?"
My response has always been "Do you want a shriveled up piece of shit for a boyfriend? No? Then shut up.".

Just wondering if I am unusual to pay such attention to skin care as a straight man.
I dont see anything wrong with that.
