    Is it normal for the nocturnal erection to be larger than the waking erection? My girlfriend tells me that mine is atleast a couple inches longer in my sleep, extending a bit more than a hand's width past the top of my navel.

    Don't know where your question comes from, but I doubt many people, men or women, are bothered by their partners' nocturnal erections.
