The reasoning is specious, at best. Most opera singers are white. That, alone, doesn't mean that whites are better opera singers. Most jockeys are shorter in stature than average and most are white males. Does this suggest that white males are on average 5'4" tall? Of course not.

It is all in the genetic cards-some got it some don't and some just exceed all expectaiotns of size all together. Mine is due to a hormonal imbalance. I still would've been large, but not as big as I am. I've seen others naked, and even the biggest guy could look small incomparson to me or someone else who might have more length or girth. My dad is big, but I am bigger than he is. Does that mean my offspring will be large, who's to say-it a 50/50 chance.

Yes, the sterotypical notion and also proven fact that blacks and hispanics are usually larger in the pants, but every now and then you will run into someone who will blow that idea to smithereens in either being too small or too big for what people have in mond that 'x' race has this size.

From my experiences, black men generally have longer penises, but of course, that cannot always be true. I have seen black men with small penises, as I would think every race has various sizes. wondering: It's possible that several hundred years ago, native tribes in Africa that did not wear clothing, would be keenly aware of who was the largest male in the tribe. It is also possible that tribes could develop rituals based on penis size. It wouldn't take too many generations for a tribe to develop offspring that were particularly well endowed.

Well endowed Africans could have been imported to the United States during the slavery days. This would lead one to speculate that black males are well endowed. But, unfortunately, many white slave owners passed their genes to their female slaves. It is most likely that the gift is passed from the father.

It is entirely possible that black males in the United States that have more pure paternal blood lines could be better endowed than their compatriots that have been sired by white males.

This, of course, is only speculation. But there are certainly some black males that skew the charts.

Icarus213: In response to Peter's theory, I have read a few scientific articles (no, not in Maxim) that also support this theory. They say that it is very possible that people from warm cultures where clothing was not worn often (Africans, Polynesians, etc) are more likely to have larger visible size and less variation in penis size. This is because females could see the men naked before they consented to marriage or coupling, etc. Since penis size was very commonly a measure of virility and masculinity back then (and now, I guess), they were more inclined to choose men with larger visible size. This might explain at least the perception (if not the truth) that blacks have larger penises.

I actually agree that blacks are bigger (I am white myself), on average, though there is always variation in both races. And hey, even if the perception isn't reality, it's still not a bad racial stereotype to be victim of, is it?

Well said. I guess I owe the site an apology. By that last comment I meant that it wouldn't bug me if everyone thought I was really hung, when in reality I wasn't. If people are going to assume that, oh well- I would be comfortable with my size whatever it was. I just took that thought as it would apply to a whole group of people.

But you are right- it would not be an appropriate stereotype for anyone who doesn't wish to be judged by that or any other generalization about a group he would belong to. No offense meant.

Icarus, I realized that you meant no offense, but you have to be careful with stereotypes. I wouldn't want people who haven't met me, for example, to think that because I'm Cuban I walk around in bright silk shirts singing 'Guatanamera' and grabbing myself. I don't drive a Pinto with a '¡Viva Cuba Libre!' bumper sticker, and I don't pronounce 'yes' and 'you' as 'jes' and 'joo'. Those are a few of the things that minorities have to contend with. Stereotypes should never been perceived as a compliment.

utterl off topic but I agree- I find L. Andrews to be very overly self-dramatized... I do attend sweat (or as they should be known Purification) lodges quarterly.. have done a Vision Quest... and believe in honoring Great Spirit/ Great Mystery... I think everyone has their own path- who am I to judge what is 'right' and 'wrong'....
