Does a very large penis often hang when hard? And not get fully hard?

I seen some porn where a guy (usually black) has a very long or mega thick penis. But no matter what happens to it some people, they don't get hard (which makes having a penis that long pointless) and with some huge hard penises, they seem so heavy that they don't point downwards. I was watching with my friend and we both agreed that we wouldn't want to be that big anyway (8"+). I like Sticking up. Though I would appreciate being thicker.

When I was 14 my penis stood about 75 degrees. Seemed it had an affair with my navel. At 30 it stood straight out and seemed to defy gravity, as one lover told me. At 40 it began to take things easy as was just as happy to be pointing about three feet in front of my toes and has been that way since. I no longer get rock hard without medical assistance, but I'm finding rock hard ain't always necessary to get the job done. It appears I was an overachiever in my youth. My wife is very comfortable with the cuddlier version of me.

I think a lot of more well-endowed guys have penises that bow (as opposed to curve downwards, which doesn't relate to rigidness.) I don't think there's any research on the point at which that typically begins to happen, though; it's totally just anecdotal observation.

When my heart isn't totally in what I'm doing, mine tends to bow a little toward the end.

I'm 8" and it doesn't get even parallel to the floor, i'd say like 15deg below horizontal.. but then again there are many my size who have reported to get rock hard and aim up. I'm in my late 20s and not obese

I have been around this for many years. Gary Griffin interviewed and did research over a ten year period on this very subject. Though not true of all men, the larger you are the more likely that your erection will not point "up". Some who do when they are young lose this as they age. Some extremely large penises get hard but point straight down at the feet. This does not make these men in any way impotent, the only thing it means is that they participate in sex a little differently. Now, another statistic is that the larger the penis the more likely the person will develop erectile dysfunction at some point in the aging process. The normal cause is vascular leakage and this is more common in extremely large penis sizes. The wonders of medicine however can correct this and the most simple way is an intra-cavernosal injection which contrary to popular belief is nearly painless. With an injection an elephantine size can be made hard as a steel bar for a very long time.

Think of a 10-foot length of 1/2-inch diameter PVC pipe - if you hold it straight out in front of you by gripping one of the ends, it's going to bow downwards quite a bit. Cut off successive 1-foot segments and hold the remaining length the same way, and it'll bow downwards less and less, until at some point, it's just going to stick straight out with no bend in it at all. A cock works the same way - you're just dealing with inches instead of feet...
